Game Thread W14 - Minnesota V Detroit (1 Viewer)

this thread is too funny....like watching a train wreck after all the fason hype....
Yeah, when you lose Ronnie Brown and and Chester Taylor and you have no choice but to start Fason because everyone in the world says he is starting, it's freakin' hilarious because you're now out of the playoffs and out the chance to win several thousand dollars.I am peeing my pants I'm laughing so hard

maybe they gave Pinner the start the go against his old team and Fason will take over from here?
Don't know if it was here, but early in the week someone said Pinner would be on a mission against his old team. Looks like they were right. If Pinner even got 1 carry in Taylor's absence last week, I would have not put Fason in.

what a ####### joke. No way is that possession. Why can't any rule or judgment be consistent from week to week?

Well, everyone knew the Minnesota RB was a great start this week.

Maybe Chester taylor has now lost his job to the awesome Pinner as well

I know it doesn't help... but those who have Fason... say to yourself "I depended on Ciatrick Fason, not Larry Johnson, to win my league".

well the call about the matchup was an excellent one. Just the call on who would get the main RB touches wasn't. That's fantasy football sometimes.

I know it doesn't help... but those who have Fason... well your first problem is you are in the wrong type of league that bases outcome on one given week ni the year... that aside... say to yourself "I depended on Ciatrick Fason, not Larry Johnson, to win my league".
Wow is that dumb.

I don't know that I've ever been more angry with fantasy football as I am right now.
I wouldn't be sooo mad if Pinner had been mentioned during the week as a possible starter - and then I made the wrong choice going with Fason. BUT.....Pinner wasn't even talked about in any of the football sites I usually trust!

yeah, like there's so many LJs to go around. Crap happens to everyone, mainly injuries. So even though some of us made the playoffs, we didn't come in with the RB(s) we wanted to start. So Fason WAS an option as the matchup was a good one and all reports had him as the starter if Taylor was out. Save the "you shouldn't have to depend on Fason" speech please.

some of us were relying on Taylor until the ##### got hurt. then we went with the handcuff and reported starter. no one even mentioned Pinner. i hope they all die, ####faces.

Here's a more interesting question: For those who still have a game to play next week, are you picking up Pinner now?

Hmmm... well...If you can start an NFL starting RB (who really assumedly did not have any competition for 1st, 2nd and GL carries) against the Lions in your flex instead of a sub-WR... I totally disagree.

Plenty of game left. Lets give him some time. Lets hope Brad shares the wealth if this is a route. Besides.....if they go up big, they'll be running a ton. He'll be fine!

dumbest post of the year.
Most bitter post of the year. Guy had one decent game ..has carried the ball 12 times all year. Yeah, i'm the dumb one, it seems.
i don't have any vikings RBs, nor am i playing against them.you're implying that people were mistaken to draft chester as a RB2 late for value. that pick probably carried them to the playoffs. guy gets hurt in week 14, so they pick up what all news reports state is his primary backup...but they should have started larry johnson instead. x100
