I'll give you that these games are always chippy.You're used to tough divisional games like this with the Giants. Losing calls getting calls, cheap shots, dumb passes by both QBs, and alot of D.Bitter Eagles fan.

Funny that everyone was saying the start of their schedule was the nightmare part of the year. They start off 6-2, then totally implode. 1-5 in their last 6. I could have seen losses against the Bears and even Jax, but the loss to Ten really put them on skid row. Seems like they've really not come back from that one yet.

True, didn't think about that one. I think the breakdown is pretty ridiculous as far as I can remember.But, is a DE THAT much of a factor, even if he is arguably the best DE ever? I just don't see it. They still have talent on both sides of the ball.
Can't argue with their record w/ and w/o him though.

Garcia only had 1 INT, correct? CBS live scoring is showing Giants' D with 2 INTs. Did I miss something?
Pretty good run defense today by the Eagles. Did not let up 100 yards in a game where they were supposed to be pounded on. They didn't do too bad against Plax (lots of yards given up but no TDs) despite the corner they were going to use against him had a pregame injury.
Another pleasant surprise was that the majority (3) of the touchdowns came on the ground for the Eagles and they called 50/50 on pass/run. Good balance by Marty. I don't expect the ratio to be as even next game against the Cowboys who have a more solid run D.
Reluctantly, my hopes are up again for this team. :X

Did an RB or WR throw one then? sportline has Demps and McQuarters each having an INT for the Gmen. Or is this an outright scoring error on their part?Note: On the Eagles Offensive stats the only INT shown is the one by Garcia.
There was only one INT (by Demps). The only other turnover for the Eagles was a fumble by Garcia forced by Demps.
