You guys are nuts if you think Fitz is serviceable. He has a very subpar completion percentage, especially for a guy that can't throw downfield and he throws interventions like they're going out of style. He stinks.What's his QB rating and QBR?

He's had some genuinely bad games, but he's also throwing to a very poor WR corps. And it doesn't help that for some reason Gailey frequently asks him to win the game all by himself, which doesn't happen in the NFL for guys who aren't named Brady or Manning. Overall, he's fine, and he's a player you can win with if you're sold elsewhere. I agree he's not a pro bowler, but he's pretty much exactly what I have in mind as a guy who can be a perfectly acceptable, if unspectacular, starter for a playoff team.

His accuracy has never been good, but a lot of those interceptions were from catchable tipped balls that wouldn't have happened with better receivers.They've already played themselves out of getting one of the top 2 or 3 QBs in the draft and their defense still has way too many holes to think that they can be a contender next year. If Fitzpatrick bombs next year, then they can still cut bait and go a different route.

I don't know if the W/L record would have been any different under Edwards. He did look dreadful in his 3 starts under Gailey, but I thought they pulled the trigger on him a little too quickly (at least another couple games).
