Game Thread W17 - Denver at San Diego (1 Viewer)

I am in my super bowl and have Gates. Can someone explain the statement about Brees' disdain for Gates? I haven't been watching the game, but looking at the box score I'm not too happy.
Comment makes no sense to me. And the poster has not come back to explain.
I think he's trying to figure out why Gates did not do much in the game, and is assuming Brees has been the QB the whole time. He's unaware that Brees injured his shoulder and was replaced by Rivers for the remainder. Generally, these results illustrate why many fantasy leagues like to finish their playoffs by Week 16, if not earlier.

Not true. The comment was made very early in the game, Brees was not injured yet. And Brees targeted Gates on a 20-25 yd pass that could have resulted in a TD if it had not been touched by the LB. So it's not like he was ignoring Gates.

If the Chargers do end up trading Rivers, I hope they can get Bradlee Van Pelt for him.
 Van Pelt was 2-8 for 7 yards.
He o\/\/ned the Chargers in the third quarter. On that 12-minute (or whatever) drive the Broncos had, every time they needed a first down, he ran for one.

Everyone seems to be mainly talking about the Chargers, but how about some love for the Broncos. It was a meaningless game for Denver, but they still went into San Diego and spanked them despite benching some of their best players rather early in the game.
