Game Thread W17 - Washington V Philadelphia (1 Viewer)

on the other hand, where were these Eagles during the season? they just flat out didn't care for a few weeks there.

wow. brunell looked like he could have hit cooley at least close to the 1st down marker. then again he was doubled.

did i just hear that they escorted clinton portis' mother down to the sidelines because those ######ed neanderthal losers in philly were throwing ##### at her?

Washington homers...is the Skins defense always this bad? Do they normally come into a game with no gameplan?I'm just shocked as a football fan at the lack of effort on the Washington side of the ball today, in a "your pride is on the line" type must-win game.

Gee, Runyan did something cheap and unnecessary? that's gonna come back to haunt them, methinks.

They normally have more players available....currently down to our 3rd string CB on one side of the ball and Walt Harris plays like a 3rd string CB as it is. Eagles line doing a great job of protecting and creating holes. I wish they would just lay over like the Bengals, Bears, Titans, and Falcons did/have today.

Washington is missing two of their best players and they both play in the secondary. You've seen how Brown has taken advantage of Walt Harris(their replacement) multiple times. This has meant that they've needed to drop more guys into coverage, which in turn has opened up the run for Philly.20 points isn't terrible, especially considering they've forced two TOs both of which have resulted in TDs. They are one of the hardest hitting defenses in the league, but they are very vulnerable to big plays.

Eagles at home this year:San Francisco W 42-3 Oakland W 23-20 San Diego W 20-17 Dallas L 20-21Green Bay W 19-14Seattle L 0-42 NY Giants L 23-26So they are 4-3 at home with 2 of those losses by 1 and 3 points. I'll admit that the Seattle game was horrible, but the Eagles are a pretty good home team. Its certainly nothing to be ashamed of to win(hopefully) a close game there, and I'm not sure why you think it would be.

Dallas must be sitting in their lockerrooms right about now thinking to themselves "damn... do we really still have to go out there and play tonight?"

The one week I start Cooley over Witten.Although Dallas has nothing to play for now, Im sure Witten will score.

Was Mike McMahon really that bad that you would put in Detmer
As an Eagles fan, I was wondering if Reid was trying to "tank" the game ( to knock the Cowboys out) with not only putting in Detmer but Gordon at the same time.Cue the black helicopters.

:tinfoilhat:

wow what a great game and a great moment for the Skins :excited: The Skins v Bucs game will be a great.Time for a jwvdcw v capella sig bet
