This is an absurd statement...Manning is the franchise at QB, he has an injured shoulder that almost kept him out of the game as it is, and they're losing by 22 points...keeping him in to face a D teeing off on the QB would have been borderline criminal...

Sorry, been watching Favre for to many years. I don't remember him ever leaving no matter how far behind they've been even when slightly injured. Probably TC pulled him to protect him and he wasn't given the option to stay in.

Favre never had to deal with a seperated AC joint in his throwing shoulder. Calling Eli a "wimp" for not finishing the game is pathetic. The Giants did the smart thing by pulling Manning when they did.
