Game Thread W2 - San Diego v New England (1 Viewer)

As much as the media has been all over this story all week, it's going to be fun watching the analysts trip over their collective ##### at halftime to say that the Patriots look pretty damn good playing the Chargers with the NFL all over them this week.
What does one thing have to do with the other? Should the networks have not covered the cheating scandal? Should they now not give the Patriots their props for dominating?

Are you guys kidding me? People on this board are constantly trash talking the Patriots. This week there was obviously an above average amount of #### thrown, but are you telling me that everyone is always enamored with the Pats on this board?
:goodposting: I love how Boston fans play the persecution card. It's tough rooting for your teams, isn't it?

memo to advertisers around the globe:

Please stop making commercials that prominently feature people eating. It's especially disgusting to hear the enhanced audio of lip-smacking and finger licking.

:goodposting:

Dear Haters,You would be doing the same EXACT gloating, if it were your team that got abused all week long only to smack around the "so called" best team in the NFL with out the "so called" advantage of videotaping.
Ohhhhhh the abuse :goodposting: :( :(

The Pats are playing Indy this week too? What time is that on?

yikes. Pats go right back to Stallworth who pushes off the defender but the refs don't call it :goodposting:wow Clinton, take the piano off your back
I guess Hotchuli's crew only calls offensive PI in the SB. Funny when Michaels said Ed didn't ref any post season games last year. Guess his post season the year before wasn't so hot.
Considering they missed that Welker delay of game and some other calls here and there maybe Hotchuli's crew hasn't been doing such a good job. IIRC, crews get assigned post-season games based on how well they officiated during the season.

Not really since they win so often. What the heck are you talking about? I'm talking about the hate they get because they win. This is prior to the video tape scandal. Anyhow, I'll crawl back in my paranoid hole and keep praying that the Chargers don't stage a massive come back and ruin my family's life. :goodposting:

Can I apply somewhere to be an independent Patriots fan and not part of the part of Patriots following here?

We can call my group of the Patriot faction the "Reasonable" people. Or something wittier.

I'm not just talking #### when I say that I think Belichick is a football genius - and for some fellow Patriots fans to think the same thing yet then turn around and say that Belichick would be STUPID enough to risk this kind of heinous violation and the bad pub, punishment, and damage to his legacy without getting some kind of competitive advantage is absolutely ludicrous to me.

Congratulations Bill Belichick on your new long term deal. I agree with Bob Kraft that we all truly appreciate his efforts.

New England sports fans proving once again that they can't handle ANYTHING with class
Handle anything with class? I believe we've earned the right to gloat a little tonight. We've been getting pissed on all week buddy.
Ya, and the last 4 years were real rough for you guys too.
It's not that. It's just funny how they get ridden. They take on Moss and the haters are lined up. They get caught doing a simple video procedure and now they are talentless cheaters. Moss has worked out fairly well and we are playing well against this Chargers team. There's not a whole lot left to say. The Pats are a good team...possibly the best ever.
Oh yeah, those record severe penalties and the further investigations are indicative of just a "simple procedure".

obviously, goodell is a hater as well.

Serious question: Does Bob Kraft ever wear shirts with collars that are the same collar as the body? That look was cool for about 6 months in 2000.

That is the most dominating half of football any team has had all season IMO. Not too mention vs. a strong opponent. NE is looking very scary.

People keep clamoring for LT to get the ball more, but he has touched it 12 times for only 42 yards. SD has only run 22 offensive plays. So he has seen it more than half the time.

Look even more undeserved hatred towards the Patriots franchise! Where does it stop!Just kidding...

Pats are the best team in the NFL. There is not much debate there...
Not going to argue that. Thank you for declaring that without crying about some perceived disrespect or a sore ######.This team could go 16-0 if they want, and Belichick might just be brazen enough to do it.

They say that you can tell the best year of a man's life by how he dresses. For some guys, you see them wearing whatever was in fashion when they were in highschool. Other guys are wearing what they wore to their first job, or when they met their wife, or whatever. Is it any surprise that the best year of Kraft's life was around 2000/2001?

True, but you took that from Jerry Seinfeld.

That's kind of cool, I've never heard that before.
