Should've gone for 2 there.
Feels like the Chargers should be tied or leading this game. Feels like they are the better team but have beaten themselves so far.
Chargers need a better coach.Feels like the Chargers should be tied or leading this game. Feels like they are the better team but have beaten themselves so far.Self- inflicted wounds are going to cost them this game.
Jackson, I owe you a beer. Sorry for talking about your drops.
So, week 13?'bostonfred said:940 yards. 4148 to go.
exactly my point. he gets a TD early, and then his only other touch inside the ten was a run from the 5 to the 1 that he almost scored on. Then they brought Tolbert in to get stuffed. makes no sense. Matthews is very good, and very fast. Just because he isn't 258 lbs doesn't mean he can't be effective at the goal line.except the NFL is not a video game. Matthews has looked better in every facet of the game. Why they refuse to use him inside the 10 is inexplicable. That's such an absurd statement. The three TDs vs the vikings was pure beast mode.Tolbert has looked okay today, but not getting in on 4th and 1 and that fumble probably means more work for Mathews. IMO Mathews has looked better so far this season anyway. And they did use him inside the 10 today, and he scored a TD. They also used Tolbert at the 1 yard line, and he failed to convert. The fumble is much worse due to the timing, but not converting on the goal line was just as big.
Yes, knee, not thought to be seriousIs Hernandez hurt or something. I haven't noticed him on the field for a while.
296 yards per game to get there. Patriots have now scored 73 points in two games. 940 yards, 7 pass tds, 1 int by brady in the first two games of the season. That 7:1 td:int ratio is just off his 36:4 pace last year, but ahead of his scoring pace (56) and yardage pace (7560).
Norv Turner at his best. Matthews has looked better than Tolbert for the most part for two weeks now yet he wont get the majority of the carries b/c....? Tolbert is a glorified full back, Matthews is much more elusive and has a better YPC because he is a better runner. The argument that Tolbert is a better blocker is absurd b/c in today's game Tolbert didn't stay back to block once. I wonder what Matthews could do if he was given the full time job (20+ carries a game without having to come off every other down). Some of these coaches out think themselves.exactly my point. he gets a TD early, and then his only other touch inside the ten was a run from the 5 to the 1 that he almost scored on.
