Game Thread W2 - Washington v Philadelphia (1 Viewer)

Philly run defense is actually stiffening - kudos to them. That line is physical, although not as much with Pucillo vs. Thomas.

nobody open? there was a guy by the sideline WIDE open right near the first down marker
:unsure:There was a CB there. He was a good 7-8 yards off him, but I'm willing to bet that as soon as McNabb would've looked over there he would've closed. He didn't look like he had any other responsibilities on that play except for that WR.
there was a guy behind him.. could have completed that pass prolly for a first down, maybe for a td
You should be on the sideline guy.
I was just pointing out, that particular play where the announcers were saying no one was open, on the replay it clearly showed a guy wide open right next to the down marker.. chill out

man, Campbell really is going to be a great QB in this league. His poise is outstanding for a guy that hasn't started a full season's worth of games yet.

Campbell reminded me of a younger McNabb on that scramble-throw to Yoder.
All Campbell there.. love to see him improvise a bit.. looking comfortable.
I don't know what the future holds of course but this could be a big coming of age game for him. He's improved even between the 1st and 4th quarters, and that's in the most hostile of venues in the division and arguably the league. Impressive.

I'd take 80 to a 100 yards and a TD from him all season. I like the consistency. It's a little scary as you're going thru the game when you need points and Betts is in there but so far the last two weeks the end result is pretty good.

Clinched me a league as well. Nothing like staying up till the 4th quarter of Monday night to fight for a win.

On a sympathetic note......the Eagles look pretty bad. I don't like to see a great QB like McNabb being booed in his home town after what he's done for them. I certainly hope Dawkins is OK as well, he's been such a great player.

I mean, Dallas could beat the Bears next week but it'll be an upset. The Skins play the Giants and will be favored to win that game most likely.

It's certainly possible that Washington will be 3-0 and on top of the division.

Gonna get that old Cowboy/Redskin rivalry back here real soon.

####, my fantasy team just won but looks like my Eagles are toast.
Be happy, no way you'd prefer it the other way around. If you did, you wouldn't be here talking with us.
Not a chance. I'd go 0-12 in FF if my NFL team went to the SB! I'll take a hawks win over ff win any and every day.
Sure, the Super Bowl's an exception. But a Week 2 win over the 'Skins????
see the bolded part.

Taylor is either going to kill someone or himself before his career is over
 He truly throws his body around with absolutely no regard for anything except making violence. It's impressive and scary. He just needs to cut down on the personal fouls.

That sounds exactly like stuff I heard about Leftwich for years. Maybe - but I wouldn't hold your breath.I just can't believe how pathetic PHI is.
