Not a good start for the Texans, Manning runs the kickoff out and dropped about the 12. False start on 1st down, Schaub has to throw it away on a bootleg. Tate about 2 yards on 2nd & 15.

But then Andre Johnson enters Beast Mode!

Andre Johnson is a man amongst boys. Picks up 1st down on 3rd and long with a screen pass - finishing like a running back. Follows up with 32 yard catch.

Andre Johnson deserves a lot of credit for that TD.

3rd and 14, the Texans pinned back on their own line Johnson just flattened the DB to make the 1st down and then got a 30 yard reception on the next play.

Texans looked awesome on that 1st drive. The Saints D, not so much.

Wow. Splitting out Casey wide as a pass catching FB is going to be great for the Texans this year. He breaks out wide on 3rd & long, Saints blitz and leave him completely uncovered for a huge gain.

Slaton getting more looks. My guess is they are getting him more involved to keep Tate fresh and because Houston only has 2 active RB's at the moment with both Ward & Foster Out.

Not sure what Brees was thinking there. He had plenty room to escape but stood there too long and took the sack.Casey hits the FG though. Saints have to be happy about this score.
