Game Thread W3 - St.Louis V Seattle (2 Viewers)

No WR's but some guy the Seahawks signed on September 9th gets a 10 yard completion on the first play of the game. Sad. Just sad....

Seattle moved down the field with ease on first possession. Hasselbeck looked sharp on first drive. New receivers? No sweat on that drive.

Bumpus in the slot is money.

Holmgren was saying earlier in the week how he already has "it" when playing in the slot, even though he's a rookie.

This could get ugly quick if the Rams don't move the ball a bit... Seattle is desperate and looking for blood.

:bag: as a Rams fan. thank God my adopted team from pre Rams in St. Louis days, the Packers, are good. Give me something to root for....Gonna be a Looooooonnnngggg season for the Rams. Rams go 0-4 and I think Linehan is gone....

Great, my team secondary is getting powned by guys named Bupkis, or is it bumpkin, and McLovin.

You might be able to get Steven Jackson for peanuts after this one.
As a Rams fan the only silver lining in this game is playing against sJax and Holt....If they do well, then my home team wins and my fantasy team loses. But if my team screws the pooch then my fantasy team probably wins....Missouri - the black hole of NFL and fantasy football

Random Thoughts after the 1st Quarter:

The Seahawks were given 9.5 points on the spread this week. Judging by the lopsided first quarter, they should cover easily.

There is really no reason to start ANYONE on the Rams this year.

When the Seahawks get Engram and Branch back on the field, can they reclaim the division title? Can they even make the playoffs?

33 False Start penalties since 2005 is Ridiculous!

Is it time to give up on this guy...He just seems to be horrible...I have not been able to see any of the Rams games so I am really curious as to if he really is as bad as his stats are showing..I know there O line is horrid, but I feel he should be completeing more passes then he is...Correct me if I am wrong...

Cory Chazes and LeRoy Glover are hounding the defensive unit on the sidelines to pick up the play.

The St.Louis guys started nodding thier heads. (So much for firing up the squad)

Give up on him? Was he your starter? He's a QB3 at this point.
No he was my #3 but I am just wondering if he really is playing as bad as it has been looking from the numbers or if there is possibility of this team turning it around. I just can't see the Rams being as bad as they have been with the stars they have on offense...

The worst part is how it's affecting Holt and Jackson. I got Holt really late in my draft. At the time I thought it may be a steal, but it's getting harder and harder to start him at this point.

Bench all Rams until Linehan is fired. Seriously.
So they are really looking that bad then when you watch them?
(From St. Louis, MO) - A seven-year old boy was at the center of a St. Louis County courtroom drama this morning, when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him. The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping with child custody law and regulation requiring that family unity be maintained to the highest degree possible. The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her. When the judge then suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy cried and said that they also beat him. After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody of him. After two recesses to check legal references and confer with the child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to the St. Louis Rams, whom the boy firmly believes are not capable of beating anyone.

lol - "harder to start?" He's staring the waiver wire right in the face on more than a few teams.PS: obviously the team is bad throughout, but any reason NOT to put Green in at QB to try and get a spark? Sure as hell can't hurt.

On a positive note, Jones does seem to have taken the reigns and hit his stride in week 3. We should see more of him in the next couple weeks before Mo Morris returns.

He is obviously a much bigger playmaker than Morris is. When MoMo returns, expect Jones to still get the bulk.

I have to disagree. In week 1, Morris was the primary ball carrier. Now since the injury, Jones has stepped into his role and been a significant factor on offense. But when MoMo returns there is no doubt that he will take many of those carries, even if he doesn't get the bulk of them. And Jones production will decrease.

It doesnt look like you disagree with me. Morris will obviously see some carries, not as much as Jones though. Of course his production will decrease a little.

Then we're all on the same page.

Seattle had to win this week. So Jones looks good huh? I liked the way he looked last week and was hoping he would have another good game today. With all the WR issues they desperately need to be able to run the ball, although running against the Rams isn't like running against the Steelers or something. Still, I'm happy.
