Game Thread W4 - Denver V Indianapolis (1 Viewer)

Having two great corners doesn't do you much good if you can't stop the run or generate any sort of pass rush. And to think, this game started off so well...

nice route by Wayne - no safety help . . .
Actually, no CB help. Wayne was covered by Dominique Foxworth, who is naturally a CB, but he has been lining up at safety all game (including on that play). In case it wasn't clear, when I'm complaining about the LBs and Safeties, Foxworth is part of the problem.

Any news on Henry?

Just this week I traded Julius Jones for Young. The whole league laughed heartily. With Henry possibly ailing, and Young looking sharp, I am starting to feel really good about that trade. Jones had a good day, but he was buried on my bench and I was never going to start him.

Henry back in.

Everyone in the greater Denver Metro area, if you've ever dreamed of playing in the NFL, they'll be holding tryouts for LBs and safeties this week. If you know how to give an 8 yard cushion and miss a tackle, you'll fit right in on this team.

Will there be punch and pie?

Any chance that Addai's shoulder 'bruise' turns out to be more?Keith for insurance?
Hard to say. For what it is worth he is still suited up on the sideline. Personally I think they are just being cautious and if the game were closer they would put him in, but that is a laymans hunch.

Dungy said after the game the Addai would have come back into the game if the game was back to a "one score game." Of the Colts injuries:Rob Morris - I'd be surprised if he comes back this season. A shame - he's the type a guy that every team could use - a team player who'll step up when needed no matter what the role.Marvin - I don't know. This is the injury that I have the most questions about.Bob Sanders - It wouldn't surprise me if they held him out for next week's game since the bye week is after that, and a key division game is after the bye week. Doesn't look like a long-term injuryUtecht - Might play next week, not a long-term injury.Addai - I expect him to play next week.
