Game Thread W5 - Green Bay V Chicago (2 Viewers)

what...how do they not call that too many players?
Refs are desperately trying to keep the Bears in the game..
you have superfavre, we have the refs...otherwise this would have turned into the SD/Denver game...
Do you ever quit whining, Scott?
Nope not when your around..As long as your annoyed by it..Seriously, are we watching the same game?. Are my poor reffing claims unwarranted?
I think you're blowing it out of proportion a bit. There's been a couple questionable calls. No different than any other game though. :help:

Yeah because I'm the only one in the entire thread thats questioned the officiating.. :help:

This Bear offense desperately needs an injection of life. Mark Bradly might be the best athlete on offense and he cant even get a freakin chance! And Greg Olsen is Mr athletic tight end who should be working the middle of the field, where Griese supposedly excels. This isnt brain surgery here damnit.

Any chance the Pack doesnt put up over 30 by the end of this thing?

Bad news for Bears. James Jones may be benched the rest of the game. He never returned to the field after the 2nd fumble.

Hell yeah, Olbermann. His segment is getting better.
 With so many unwatchable NFL shows filled with unintelligible ex-players whose sole purpose seems to be only to hear themselves speak, it's good to see professional announcers/reporters such as Costas and Olbermann do a good job at entertaining and providing information.

Why aren't they using Bradly???

You've been crying about every play. That's what I mean. The penalty on the field goal appeared to be little dumb but I don't know the rules concerning that.

I'll agree that the 12 man penalty should have stuck, but the rest of the calls were very defendable. The funny thing is, they seem to have gotten the "judgement" calls right but managed to blow a pretty black and white counting issue...To their defense, Wisconsinites don't really have much going for themselves other than the Packers, and Farve is about to start collecting social security. I guess I can't blame them for wanting everything to go perfect in this one last desparate hope for a championship. After Mrs. Madden retires, it will be another 20 years of futility...

Lovie is an idiot. All he ever says is that he is the 5th wr and they need to get the 4 other wrs worked in before him. So f'n stupid!

And saying I've been whining about every play isn't blowing it out of proportion? Give it a rest already.. :lmao:

Don't like that play call.

The Bears were daring the Packers to throw the ball and they just ran it into the heart of the defense.

Playing conservative. Bears offense isn't scaring anyone..I'll take a 10 pt lead..
There are levels of conservative.Your QB is on pace for almost 500 yards of passing and has completed 87% of his passes so far.I'd feel pretty good about a "conservative" misdirection short pass from that guy.

Two times he spiked the ball, and they were counted as incompletions. Throwing wise, he has only had one incompletion.

I hadn't seen Travis Johnson's taunting after the block. What a lousy thing for him to do. It's not like Green blindsided or clipped him. It was completely legit. And to hear his postgame comments... What a bozo and I hope the guys feels like a little bit of a doof after Olbermann called him out...
