This thread will be pinned once we're under way.

If you see something happening, please describe the play instead of eg "WOW".

Please describe more of what you see, things that will help other fantasy owners eg Player X is seeing loads of targets, Player Y is running the ball with authority today etc

Remember, not all of us are watching your game.

Only week 5 and it's already a game of attrition, with key players out for both teams.

Inactives:

Seattle

QB Josh Portis

WR Mike Williams

OT Jarriel King

OL Robert Gallery

LB Malcolm Smith

CB Marcus Trufant

CB Byron Maxwell

Giants

CB Prince Amukamara

RB Brandon Jacobs

OG Mitch Petrus

C David Baas

OT James Brewer

WR Michael Clayton

DE Justin Tuck

While I am violently opposed to a Suck for Luck campaign, and no matter what the cost, once the game starts I can't help but go 100% rooting for a win, losing a tight game like the Hawks did last week is the best of both worlds. It's invaluable training for the youngest team in the league and doesn't ruin their draft pick. Again, not hoping for a loss. But in all honestly, a "good" loss is what's best for this team. And they need to be in position to get a top 3 slot to get a QB, unless they make a play for Flynn and try to land a DL with a top 8 pick.

With Trufant out and Kam back in at safety, they get to have a good look at the secondary as it will look next year when Trufant is shuttled out. We'll see if the youngsters can play. I think the corner play will be... not good, but the safeties should continue to impress and is what I am looking forward to seeing the most.

Seahawks going no huddle first drive but Lynch is hurt on second play. Then two good, not great, passes to the goal line turn into Zach Miller taking a cheap launch to the head and he's hurt. Yay. 1st and Goal with two playmakers out of the game....

Also, the focus on head hits doesn't seem to be stopping defenders across the league from launching themselves at other player's heads.

Good drive for the Seahawks ending in a TD

The Giants got called for hit on a defenseless reciever down near the goal line.

Jackson was given a lot of protection on that drive

Nice answering drive by the Giants

Bradshaw running well

Eli hitting a couple of different recievers including Ballard twice on the drive...the 2nd was for the TD

Wish they would've shown that 3rd down replay another time. Osi was already past the OL and the RB before any Seahawk even moved. Not sure how that wasn't offsides.

Blitz gets to Eli, ball hits the ground. Hawks' ball inside the 20 and first play TJ wants to give it right back...

Lynch with a 47 yard run to the 1. Spun around by his hair, otherwise he'd have been in. Got it next play on a 1 yard run. 2 plays, 48 yards, Seahawks lead 14-7.

Wasn't even enemy contact that punched out the ball, ran into his own guy. Marshawn is in Beast Mode, feed the Beast!

Love that Chris Clemons! High motor doesn't even cover it. Dude's a beast and well worth Lawrence Jackson (I think that was the trade). Another penalty on Seahawks kick return. Still heavy signs all over the place of a young team.

Nicks seen any looks?
According to ESPN he has 1 target. Did he get hurt or has he just not gotten open?
Hawks have been getting a decent amount of pressure. The Giants' O has been largely ineffective after the first drive. He was "targeted" on a pass that either Eli or Nicks messed up cuz the ball was 15 yards from him but there was a penalty for holding Nicks. Then the INT. He's got rookies covering him I think, should get some looks. Unless ELi fumbles the ball again...

Seattle should STILL be up by 3 or 4 scores right now but are looking at possibly being tied at halftime. Haven't seen Lynch in 3 or 4 series. Baldwin just left to the lockerroom early by himself.

And there's the Nicks TD....

No one but themselves to blame for being tied.

By the way, for Manning owners out there... he looked great on the last drive and nailed all 4 of his passes.

The big difference is that the o-line gave him great protection on all 4 plays (compared to the past several drives where Seahawks were constantly rushing free).

eli really doesnt know how to lob it up
dude so wrongPlax? cmon
meant to clarify, this yr
ahh well in that case, if Barden would get his...together, then the Gmen could possibly have one of the best lob targets ever but it looks like Barden is going to be bagging groceries discussing the potential he once had.I'm so not an Eli fan, just saying Barden irks me.

Can he do that from a stationary bike?

Yeah, Jackson hurt himself on a run. Looks like he was just headed back to the locker room.

Here's how anonymous Charlie Whitehurst is, even to his own teammates:

Now all the people clamoring for Whitehurst, aka Clipboard Jesus, will find out that it didn't matter who was in at QB. Still bottom tier.

If the Giants win this game, it will be their luckiest win of the year. Another Hawk starter goes to the locker room. Turnovers and bad QB play and way too many penalties.
