Neither Indianapolis nor Tampa are winning this game. Alex Smith looks good. Carlos Rodgers with a pick 6 off Freeman. Goldson made a great block on Freeman to help the return.

Freeman with his second pick. This time the ball hit the wr and db in the hands at the same time...db just grabbed it faster.
Btw, the SF starting DT is out this game with a staph infection. There's no reason Tampa shouldn't be running it straight up the middle.

Didn't think there was a more overrated young QB in the league than Freeman, but both Williams & Benn need a lot of work on their route running.
JMO Tampa's young offensive weapons were vastly vastly overrated coming into this league. They're nice pieces, but none with a big ceiling IMHO.

Short week, cross country flight after a MNF game that was a fight to win...I hear you but I don't really blame him. WOuld like to see Benn "step up" and push Williams a little bit but he's not 100% yet, maybe not all season. Preston Parker seems to make plays. Winslow has been quiet too.
The Bucs' record has masked this fact, but he certainly has not been impressive so far this year.

Are you fishing?Williams had 11 TDs as a rookie, and Benn is coming off a major knee injury that happened at the end of the season last year. Ever hear of Preston Parker? Freeman has helped that guy build a career this season. I understand the pedigree thing but the Bucs are very very young, they have a lot to look forward to.

Yes, but Alex Smith only has 10 attempts. Freeman has 22. SF isn't going to pass much if they don't have to.

Comprehension down? I don't think their young options are that good. Understand the 2nd time I've stated this? Preston Parker is their most impressive WR. He knows how to run a route. There's a reason no one is ever open.....The same people that give 2 ####s about Mike Williams rookie year are the same ones that give 2 ####s about Michael Clayton's. Still waiting on his bounce back too??I don't find Freeman any more impressive than I found David Garrard.Wonderful you have an opinion on the matter. Because I have mine.

24-3 is a little shocking but then again it's classic Monday Night letdown. Short week, flying cross country, almost impossible to win these type of games. Bucs look tired and then they lost McCoy, rough day. Hope no one else gets injured and they can just back home with most of their guys intact. Hope McCoy isn't hurt too bad but it didn't look real good.

They really didn't look that good at home vs. a terrible Indy team either. Tampa isn't a very good team. Not real shocking they're getting trounced by the 49ers (who have better weapons on both sides of the ball -- especially defense)

when was the last time Tampa Bay scored a TD in the first quarter? on the first drive? (I think it's been multiple seasons ...)

Mike Williams can't run a route to save his life. Guy gets zero separation.
Good luck owning this one. He'll blow up one week and owners will piss in their PJ's and then he'll go back to his usual nothing stat line.
If Tampa played as well as they complained, they'd be a pretty good team. But the reality is, they're a poor offensive and defensive team.

Miscommunication between Smith & Crabtree. Shocking that would happen to a WR that won't participate in preseason for 3 years.
Yeah, Bowman is right there with Willis. Defense was upgraded at all levels this off season. My only concern is Justin Smith is getting up there in age. The offense has grown every week & should be pretty good after the bye week. Harbaugh is making a huge difference. Fun to watch football again.

18, 17, 14, 28 in my leagues...not much has changed since last season for him. He was about 18-20 point s a week, had a huge game at the end of the year where he threw 5 TDs. Long season and I bet he is in the top half of starting QBs in FF points at the end of the year.

I think this has a lot to do with Harbaugh. Smith finally has a head coach that can relate to him and Alex is showing that he can do it.As a Niner fan, this is the most excitement I have had in a season in a long time!
