Game Thread W6 - Chicago V Atlanta (1 Viewer)

The single wing wildcat play rears it's head by ATL...Jerious Norwood takes the snap and rumbles for a long gain

This helps explain things - I had NO idea that Nathan Vasher is out for this game. That is certainly helping Ryan look good, as there's a huge drop off from our starting corners. If Tilman is out due to that lame play by White, it'll be trouble for us.
WR fighting for a catch is lame?
Lame for us Bears fans that he rode him down onto his bad shoulder. It's not like he did anything wrong (other than the penalty itself), but it just worked out very bad for the Bears.Ryan isn't as good as he looks in this game - the Bears are playing with two backup corners that are far weaker.

Said this before on the board, but I'm a huge Falcons fan and liked the Ryan pick but never imagined he'd play as well as he has so far. He's been fantastic but three things in particular jump out at me:1. He's as poised as about any rookie I've ever seen2. His arm strength is even better than I thought3. He's more mobile than I thought. He's not Vick running around obviously, but despite how well our O-line has played they still aren't one of the better lines in the league (yet) but he's able to move around and by some time.As for today's game we really need to convert one of the drives in to a TD. If we can do it here before the half we will be in good shape.
The kid looks very good. If they could convert in the red zone this game would be a blow out.

Hester is a complete non-factor in the return game now. I really think that when some guys see the money, their desire/moxy just evaporates... He is making real strides as a receiver, but is no longer the X factor on this team.

Heck yeah baby! Bears looking alive now.

If only Tilman and Vasher would suddenly suit up and/or we were to get some pressure on Ryan... sigh.

Nice play Ryan to White. We really need a TD on this drive. I'll give it up to the WRs today, they've finally been hanging on to the ball. Douglas' catch was a nice one to keep the drive alive....if Ryan puts a little air under the ball it's 6.

That idiot freaking play by Grimes (CB lining up offsides WAY out of the play and negating a 3rd down incompletion) could be HUGE in this one.

Forte stopped on 4th and goal! Nice play. Have to say Forte has been impressive in the 2nd half and with the way they were running the ball I don't blame Lovie for going for it there.

That return was huge! The Bears are usually so good in all aspects of special teams so I was surprised that Norwood was able to break such a big return.
