Not good, Roscoe Parrish is back.Bills homers, whats the chance James Hardy makes a reception today?
Does Hardy not get on the field in the redzone? Back in week 3 (i think it was) Hardy made a nice TD catch that was a high degree of difficulty, i dont get how they havent targeted him much since that, especially in the redzone. Not good, Roscoe Parrish is back.Bills homers, whats the chance James Hardy makes a reception today?
Gameday's not updating. 6:28 left in the 3rd; Rivers just hit Vincent Jackson for a TD. 14-13 Chargers.long half time here or what?
must note Norv chose to punt on the Buffalo 40 yrd line, 4th and 3 inches. Wussssssyyyyy!SD punt downed at the 1 yard line; Bills challenged and lost, so they gave up their first timeout and start this drive at the 1.
But SD's running game has been so poor today (13/28/0 not counting Jackson's reverse or Rivers' kneeldown), it is no given they would have gotten those 3 inches... sad but true.must note Norv chose to punt on the Buffalo 40 yrd line, 4th and 3 inches. Seriously, why isn't Brees throwing much more than 5-7 yard passes?
Im not saying it was a given, just that Norv isnt coaching to win, hes coaching not to lose, hoping the Bills make a mistake. Yeah, two passes over 15 yards. Your response is warranted.Seriously, why isn't Brees throwing much more than 5-7 yard passes?
His response, methinks, was to you saying Brees.Yeah, two passes over 15 yards. Your response is warranted.Seriously, why isn't Brees throwing much more than 5-7 yard passes?

their defense is just pretty bad, I wouldnt equate it to quitting, they just are not very good.SD giving up here.
So Rivers is calling the plays?Maybe if Rivers would stop trying to be "the show" himself and run on 1st down, this crap wouldn't happen. I swear this kid wants to be the franchise sooooooo bad. Sincerely, LT and Keading owner
play of the game there, first and goal and Rivers throws to a double covered Gates, bad throw, nice play by Mitchell reading his eyes. Mitchell has had a good game.Mitchell Picks off Rivers in the endzone !

I don't think your assessment of the reason behind Lynch's lack of yardage is accurate. The Bills' run blocking has simply been atrocious this year, being completely inept at opening holes between the tackles. Most of Lynch's yards have come after first contact. The guy has been basically playing kill-the-carrier against every defense he has played this year. Ya, it is puzzling why an offensive line that is so good at pass protection can be so bad at run blocking. The best argument I have heard so far is that the Bills linemen struggle so much due to their height... they are the tallest line in the league which some think prevents them from getting low and providing a sufficient amount of drive against the d-linemen.The Moz said:Seriosuly other than a few games with TD's he has't looked that great at all. Last year he was a bull and ran all out every play like Barber does. This year it's hit first tackler and fall down. Not certain what happened to the guy but IMO Lynch is a #3 RB right now or a low end #2. If I can get something decent for him I am taking it. What a dissapointment
The Bills were playing a cover-3 or a very generous cover-2 all game to prevent the big play, but leaving the underneath routes open. Rivers was simply taking what the defense gave him. The Bills, in turn, were gambling that Rivers would make enough mistakes that it would not cost them.Onions said:EdwardCat said:Seriously, why isn't Brees throwing much more than 5-7 yard passes?
I mean really you got to love bitter fantasy owners with unrealistic expectations....It's the same tough RB as last year running behind the same bad run-blocking OL as last year....I don't think your assessment of the reason behind Lynch's lack of yardage is accurate. Yeah, weird statement. I thought Lynch was even running harder this year. The TD numbers are pretty nice, and his receptions are beyond realistic expectations right now. Seriously, he is probably averaging 25 yards less per game than pre season predictions. Are we really downgrading him to a #3 RB for being less than 2.5 fantasy points a game vs. predictions?I mean really you got to love bitter fantasy owners with unrealistic expectations....It's the same tough RB as last year running behind the same bad run-blocking OL as last year....I don't think your assessment of the reason behind Lynch's lack of yardage is accurate. It's the least surprising part of the season thus far, right up there with the Lions not being good.
Mitchell's interception in the end zone has to be one of the biggest defensive regular season plays in recent memory. Absolutely huge!Bills have been in the 4th quarter this year. Great statement win coming off the bad loss before the bye.Bring on the AFC East.
