Game Thread W8 - New England V Buffalo (1 Viewer)

omg..Is this gonna be a ... :banned:   lovefest....
i'm happy for bruschi, but i'm getting a little nauseous. i'm also bitter because i think there might actually have been some mention of other players injuries/status (yes, i'm a dillon owner), if they weren't obsessing over t.b.

This is the Three Stooges M.O. They pick one player and then hang on their jock ALL NIGHT. That's what you get with three guys too lazy to actually study up for the game; it's much easier to kiss someones #### all night than to provide insight.

You mean like a few weeks ago when Joe was singing the praises of Kyle Boller? :X

Pass with the first carry... I must have missed something.
And we're off!!!Let the "Where the %#%^* is Corey Dillon?" posts begin!!!
No we already had those in the Dillon thread whle they were doing the Teddie lovefest and pregame tribute.I think we split 2-2 in the start Pass or Dillon guesses.

Pass has looked pretty good idea. Has has a lot of burst. Now if these F#&$ing penalties would stop, we would be doing much better.

Damn. Going against Dillon and it's lookin' great, then Pass goes down after looking sensational. The way he let go of the ball and grabbed his hammy isn't good. Dillon will rock now I'm sure.. :hot:

Looks like Pass grabbed his hammy. That didn't look good.
Definately a "dropped" pass....he's going to be done. He totally gave up the ball -- it usually takes serious pain to cause that.

I'm really surprised at ESPN with the whole Bruschi thing. It is not like ESPN to overhype/overdramatize/play out something. I'm shocked  :sarcasm:

without power here in sfla...is Dillon playing? Don't see him listed with a carry on nfl.com.
He will be now... Pass just went down with a cramp or hammy injury Dillon isn't 100% so they were leaning on Pass

Uh oh... Pass grabbing left hammy
For those who can't watch the game, Pass went down with out getting hit and grabbed his left(?) thigh.
That may have been the weakest play I've seen all year. Dropping the ball to grab your hamstring? Unreal. And he was walking off later.Your leg had better be detached if you drop the ball for it. I can't imagine what Belichick will do with that. Unbelievable.

Didn't Fred Taylor do that a couple years ago when he tore his groin?

Agreed, Joe. Coach ain't gonna be happy with that reaction. If you're hurt, go down but protect the ball at all costs.

Big difference... I'd be surprised if Pass actually tore anything. My guess is cramp since he could walk off

People that tear things limp off a lot.

Freddies injury -- imho -- does qualify as your leg being detached. Or in that case, the area between his legs detached.I don't think many people could hold onto the ball when your own balls feel like they just fell off. ? A pulled hammy is nothing compared to what Freddie had.

I do not understand how NE can only have 3 rushes on their first 3 drives. I mean, this is Buffalo you are playing. Perhaps the worst run defense in the league. Run the ball. Dillon with no rushes so far. Unbelievable.

disclaimer: I do not own a New England RB in any league.
