Game Thread W8 - New England V Buffalo (1 Viewer)
I do not understand how NE can only have 3 rushes on their first 3 drives. I mean, this is Buffalo you are playing. Perhaps the worst run defense in the league. Run the ball. Dillon with no rushes so far. Unbelievable.

disclaimer: I do not own a New England RB in any league.
Not sure if they have a healthy RB actually. :tumbleweed:
They've had at least two rushes called back by penalties. When Pass was in, it was about a 50/50 split.

Looks like Dillon will be forced in - unless Tedi can play RB too.
:goodposting:  Not sure if ESPN announced it or not but apparently Bruschi is coming back tonight from some sort of ailment :X

We are gonna find out right now if Dillon can contribute anything tonight..I'm playing against him, so you know my take!
On the first drive the offensive penalties took them out of running situations.Second drive Pass laid ball on ground

And they've only run 6 plays on offense according to nfl.com stats.

edit correction 11 plays

If you needed 0.1 points from Dillon tonight, you almost just won your game on that run.

Dill definately doesn't look 100% yet. No burst. Its not a limp, but, something doesn't look right in his gate to me.

LOL! Missed kick. I think the pats spent too much energy on ole Tedi's return and forgot to prepare for this game. GEEEEZ, this is ugly.

He hasn't really looked 100% to me all year. He's lost a step, possibly age related.

Since he got a ring, hes lost his fire.

That kick by Vinateri was ugly. I mean come on, your team has played awful, you have a chance to salvage the first half and you hook the #### out of a kick from 44 yards. Are you not supposed to be the best clutch kicker????

Unfortunatley for me it looks like NE can run at will, as expected. Buffalo O needs to stay on the field for awhile, or...

Finally, Bellicheck remembered who #28 is. Maybe he'll start to give him the ball... I think he wants to turn into Andy Reid tonight.

The Pats have 10 rushing plays vs. 15 passing plays. Considering some run plays were called back on pentalites, it's a fairly balanced attack.

About time that the Bills went to the air. Kelly H took a vicious hit on that toss though.Maybe looked worse than the hit really was. Still, I would've been in the hospital if I was standing in there.

Another big play given up by the Pats. :D Nice pass by Holcomb, even better catch and run by Moulds.
It could be ugly against the Colts.
yea, the potential is there for a really rough outing for the Pats when they face the Colts. But if there's two things I know a) Pats are resilient and b) Peyton always chokes it up against the Pats.

Yikes...Brady got hammered on that play. Nowhere to throw. I'm glad Deion got his TD for the day and helped my team cruise to victory.

Exactly how was Tedy B going to help their tackling?
I think it was rather unrealistic that a guy coming off a long layoff would have immediate impact. The way ESPN and co. were going on about him, you'd think he can turn water into wine. "Hire him for your next wedding or bar mitzvah folks! Tedy Brus-christ!"

For the first time this season, I'm thinking the Patriots might not make the playoffs.
If Holcomb can continue to play well I think it's a real possibility. There goes the announcers talking about Bruschi again, taking a shot of his wife and how great she has been, all the while a turnover has happened and the play is starting on the other side.

what a friggin joke. shut the #### up about bruschi already!!! a whole play and a turnover go by and they don't even acknowledge it until the next play
