Guess he should have stopped himself in mid-air.

I don't have Jacobs on my team, but I thought view from right clearly show ball broke the plane and should have been TDThe overhead view is clear, and the view for the right sideline shows the ball about 6 inches from the plane, then you see the arms extend and the ball disappears. Seeing anything other than that is wishful thinking. You tell me where the replays CLEARLY showed a TDYou just lying to yourselfFirst off, Aikman proves once again he's atleast as bad as Dierdorf, probably worse. And Troutwig has twice commented about receivers not getting out of bounds, and we're not even midway through the second quarter. The combination of these two is just attorcious.
The spot after the challenge was too far away and the replays clearly showed Jacobs broke the plane. Absolutely horrible officiating.
All you see from the aerial view is is his helmet crossing the GL and shoulder maybe touching it.The ball was behind his shoulder based on where he was holding it from the other viewThe overhead view is clear, and the view for the right sideline shows the ball about 6 inches from the plane, then you see the arms extend and the ball disappears. Giants and Steelers showing every other team how to hit
And the refs are showing why the NFL should just ban tackling and turn this thing into two hand touch.Hines didnt deserve the fine he got, but Im sure Phillips will be fined for that and probably the hit on the int will get a fine too. League is trying to ruin the game.If Hines gets fined for his hit on Rivers, Phillips should get fined for that
Yeah ya gotta let two physical teams like this play. That's what the fans want, this is what football is all about.Giants and Steelers showing every other team how to hitAnd the refs are showing why the NFL should just ban tackling and turn this thing into two hand touch.
Why not? If the ball is on your 41, you can't line up on your 42. If you are not moving, it isn't a motion penalty. Someone just lined up too far down the field.Offsides on the offense? You can do that?
Hines got fined?!As of this morning, he hadnt been fined yetAnd that Phillips hit was much closer, if it wasnt, to H2H than Hines hitHines didnt deserve the fine he got, but Im sure Phillips will be fined for that and probably the hit on the int will get a fine too. League is trying to ruin the game.If Hines gets fined for his hit on Rivers, Phillips should get fined for that
Just like an illegal formation penalty, the play isnt stopped for the flag. Why not? If the ball is on your 41, you can't line up on your 42. If you are not moving, it isn't a motion penalty. Someone just lined up too far down the field.Offsides on the offense? You can do that?
YeahI dont know if Holmes was in 'the program' or not, bc that will likely depend if he gets suspended at all, but Tomlin def jumped to conclusions on thisTomlin probably should have let the NFL discipline Holmes since they are still going to do that anyway. This passing game looks pretty bad without him in there.
They need to keep utilizing Miller in his absence. They need Holmes
Im guessing its bc hes a HOF who used to play for the CowboysSeriously, does Aikman have a deal with the devil or compromising pictures of someone at Fox? How is he one of their marque announcers?
They utilize Miller like your 4th child on a cross country road trip in a PriusThey need to keep utilizing Miller in his absence. They need Holmes
Its been like that the last 2 years brothaI know it got called back, but #@%#%# the third and long defense from Pittsburgh this year is RIDICULOUS.
Might have been the worst coverage I've *ever* seen on that play. Are you kidding? It looked like he didn't even know he caught the ball, or was just letting him score.Butler just got OWNED
Only 2 years for the third down D? Try about 6-8. That problem goes back well into the Cowher years.Apparently, all Washington does is catch long TDs.I still don't like the guy that much. But they needed that BIG time. Its been like that the last 2 years brotha
OWNED doesn't even begin to describe it. Looks like the coaches upstairs wanted to talk to him to ask why he thought his job was to beat Holmes to the endzone. That was RIDICULOUS!Butler just got OWNED
TrueSuper Bowl XL still clouds my vision about the few years before it in some aspectsWhat really goes back to the Cowher years is sh***y special teams. Our coverage has improved, but when you have Davenport as your return man, somethings wrongOnly 2 years for the third down D? Try about 6-8.
