Game Thread W8 - Tampa Bay V NY Giants (1 Viewer)

Is the wind swirling at Giats stadium or one obvious direction?I'd swear the Bucs way they can throw it deep while the G-men keep throwing it deep and having it hung up in the air.It seemed they were only mildly concerned about Carter there
still think the wind was in Tampa's favor this Q. Curious if G-men go deep a bunch in the 3rd Q

Tiki 14 for 35 2.5 avg and no catches

Buress wide open a few times

Barber's switched jerseys before the game

Announcer is saying some Giant players say Tiki quit on them? Huh? who? I hadn't heard that

Is Shockey even remotely open on these targets, or is he dropping passes left and right?

I swear, he's the most overrated player in the league.

Punt to 20.

Couldn't tell who but some Giant STer pushed his man into Bidwell. Quiet unexciting but very nice play coaches will eat up

A couple of media personalities (New York Daily News columnist Gary Myers and Tom Jackson and Michael Irvin on ESPN) surmised without any knowledge of the situation whatsoever that some Giants players would view Tiki's retirement announcement as a distractions.Tiki lashed back at them by calling them "'idiots' because they have neither spoken to me nor any one of my teammates or any of my coaches".No Giants team members have even hinted that this is true to the slightest degree.

ahathanks for clarifying

Buress dove for an 8 yard catch.

Tiki seemed stuffed outwide by Bolden, then Tiki did a Bavaro impression and carried Bolden

Shockey and Jacobs were wide there, least Shockey finally caught the ball

BTW Tiki joined Marcus and Marshall as the only RBs with (IIRC) 5k rec and 9k rushing

Jacobs in there now. It is safe to say that today is a bust for Barber. Amazing considering what he did against top defenses the two weeks before.

Manning has to be the worst 3rd down QB I've ever seen. Yet another 3rd and out.

The Bucs throw the ball 48 times with a rookie Qb in adverse wind conditions while only running the ball 10 times (not counting the 3 Qb scrambles).

Brilliant game plan chuckie!!

Giants D is ferocious with the pass rush 3-4 weeks in a row they're all over the QB 3 out of 4 plays. The right team will use their veteran tackle to let em' make that fast first step then hit em' and they'll pound the ball enough to keep em' honest. The last few weeks teams have been in panic mode. Only 2 sacks this week but 3 forced fumbles and a ridiculous # of QB pressures. I think 6 and 7 sacks the two weeks before. Keep in mind Osi sat this week.BTW Accorsi gets major props for going with his gut and getting Kiwi even though the need didn't seem to be there. He really does seem special.I gotta say with Tampa's great D of not too long ago, I thought maybe just maybe they might know how to counter. Instead Brooks watched the opposing team do what he used to do
