Game Thread W9 - New England V Indianapolis (1 Viewer)

Big mistake by Dungy not using Adaii at the goal line instead of Keith. Redskins learned their lesson using Betts a few weeks ago. Play your stud!! They are not interchangeable.

Hmmm, amazing how NE doesn't look unbeatable when they actually play a good team.
I heard the exact same thing yesterday when Mizzou was down 10-7.It's the first quarter. I'm no Pats fan, but overreactions suck.
I didn't say they'd get beat, just that they're not miles ahead of the rest of the NFL like some would like to think.
I think most who know what they are talking about have said that the Patriots AND the Colts are miles ahead of the NFL.

One way to look at this is that Indy had two good drives but have come away with only 3 points. With 10 or 14 points, the pressure may have increased on the Pats. But not with only 3 points.

Hopefully the Colts will teach the other teams how to play them. Problem is the most of the other teams are just plain bad both in the AFC and NFC. Hardly any good veteran QBs anymore and very poor offensive line play around the league. Its doubtful the league will ever be this bad again.

NE went against tendencies there. Instead of going with the fade, Moss got to the inside. Nice route, nice throw, nice catch.

That was the first time we've seen the Pats have to really work during an offensive drive this season and they still came away with the TD. THis is going to be a great game.

Technically playing a passing D has worked for the Pats because they have only given up 3 points. It will be interesting to see if they stay with it or adjust to all the running that Indy is doing.

Colts may want to think about turning those trips inside the 5 into touchdowns today.
Good thought. You should give them a call. :football: :shrug:Seriously.. 2 possessions, two decent drives ending in a missed FG(albeit blocked) and a FG isn't going to get it done today.

Did you see Dungee's face when Moss scored that TD? Priceless. Say whatever you want, I think he'll be surprised if they win this game.

The best 2 offensive line coaches in the league are in New England and Indy. Its not like either team is loaded with guys that were considered major talents coming into the league.

Pats have stopped them when it mattered but, the Colts had drives of 52 & 88 yards with their first two possessions.

Hey T.O., at least so far, this is a  game.
