The line looks outstanding. Mendenhall has been fast through the hole which is great, but all that time getting into the open field and I haven't seen one guy evaded or one broken tackle. Dude could have 100 yards by now with all those free runs to the 2nd level.

What is the Steelers' team record for yards in a game? What is the NFL record? Are either of these in jeopardy?

 
Is this the first ever 6 deep zone? We can call it the San Diego 6...

so SD Homers..what is the story on the O-line injuries? I know it was devastated in the first 2 games...any hope of anyone returning soon? Both lines are just decimated and look awful. They have looked like #### since the opener really.

 
This is a pretty uninspiring effort by the Chargers tonight. Every team has them, but it seems like Norv Turner coached teams have them more often than others. Especially this early in the season.

Charger fans, if you could have one of these replacements/do-overs right now, which one would you take?

Mart Schottenheimer instead of Norv Turner,

Michael Turner instead of LT, or

Drew Brees instead of Phillip Rivers

None of that has much to do with the laughable Defense. Woot TD!
 
There was no holding ... but there was no offensive PI that the Steelers wanted either. It was just a good route and catch.

I'd love to still have Michael Turner on the team.I'd take Rivers over Brees (but I'd be perfectly happy with either). Not sure about Norv versus Marty. Norv is better at thinking ahead and setting things up for the future while Marty didn't appear to have any creativity saved for the playoffs. On the other hand, just getting to the playoffs has been a lot harder than it should be under Norv.

Yeah, Turner over LT is the only one I'd definitely do. Brees is great, but so is Rivers. I'd lean toward Marty over Norv, but I really don't think it's a huge difference when it matters most.

No, but it will lead to a greater RBBC approach and an eventual hostile Mendenhall takeover. ETA - I think Mendenhall still needs to prove he has a grasp of the whole playbook before that happens, but I'm almost certain this spells Parker's move to a new team next year unless he's giving one hell of a hometown discount.
