Game Thread - Wildcard - NY Giants @ Tampa Bay (1 Viewer)

Can the Giants run fairly easily on the Bucs?

That's all that'll matter today IMO. Eli's not gonna win it for them over 4 Qs, maybe he'll get lucky on some 4th Q drive but who's banking on that? Running and 3 and outs by their pass rushing DL is everything to the Giants

Maybe Justin Tuck will finally get national exposure today. He's so buried on their depth chart it's a shame

ETA No I don't think what the Bucs do matters too much, Giants more often than not beat themselves when they lose. I know many hate that phrase but they epitomize it.

Tampa will win this game by 10+ points. Eli will turn it over at least 3 times (INTs and/or fumbles on sacks) and the Tampa D will make him look pretty bad. He looked good for most of the New England game, but he'll revert back to form today.

I'll go with 27-13 Tampa Bay.

Could besimilar to what I said above, you'll feel they beat themselves if the Gmen lose. Too bad you couldn't bet on that

Send your friend here to San Francisco. These Giants need all the help they can get. :lmao:

Santana wouldn't help the baseball Giants. :lmao:

Does it seem like there are about half as many commercial breaks as usual? Both yesterday's games and so far today?

Any one else find it ironic that Eli blames the weather for some of his bad games? The same Eli that refused to play in San Diego? Just found that interesting.

Tell him to look at Jim Kelly's career, who played in Buffalo. He didn't seem to need excuses.

After seeing the weather stats Fox put on the screen to support his claim I started to feel really bad for Eli. Its a shame he can't play in 80 degree, sunny weather. Oh wait....

Great work by Eli, and great playcall adjustments. Toomer could be huge in this game... Tampa is in trouble

Bradshaw is a great compliment to Jacobs.

With his emergence as of late and Derrick Ward next year coming back - they have insurance for Jacobs who cannot seem to stay healthy.

A lot of Eli bashers going to eat crow after this game and I don't understand it after how good he looked vs. New England. Not everyone's Tom Brady.
He had a great game against the Patriots but he's been the model of inconsistency in his career as well as throughout the season. Why can't you understand that he may have some critics?

But when he is in he always seems to play very well. I agree tho, Jacobs and Bradshaw next year looks like a formidable rushing attack.

Eli is the 15-20 best QB, He's not Brady..

Why consistently look at the glass half empty? You say he's had some ups and downs, so why not expect an up rather than a down.I come into this thread and I read how poorly he's going to do, rather than questions like: I wonder how well he's going to do today since he's been up and down. I'm an Eli Manning fan just for the simple fact so many people throw him under the bus before the bus has even started its engine.
