**Wildcard Saturday - Chargers at Texans**(+3, 44.5) 4:30 on CBS (3 Viewers)

Herbert is straight up garbage.
This may be one of the dumbest takes I have ever seen.

You see what’s around him? Lol.

Easy to say when he is having a bad game……with literally no pass protection and a middle school kid as his best WR.
I get your point, but man, you are underselling McConkey. He's a top-20 NFL WR. He's pretty much the same size as guys like Antonio Brown, Stefon Diggs, or Garrett Wilson.
I like him…..a lot….but he needs a big physical guy on the other side.
I agree, they could use a better #2. I just think McConkey is absolutely fine as a #1.

He does need an NFL off season though. He is really small muscle mass wise. He has to build up some more muscle to survive long term. I can see him being highly injury prone staying like this physically. Not talking height….talking muscle mass and strength.

Yeah, I imagine the 185 he's been at this year, will be 195 eventually. Just like with Diggs.

Bring in Tee Higgins and it’s 1a & 1b.

But a reliable big bodied WR would be a boon to this offense.

I keep hearing that, but I think its highly unlikely. They can't outbid New England, and if its not fully about the money, Higgins will stay in Cincy.

If they bring in a vet, I think it'd be someone more along the lines of Amari Cooper. Maybe Davante Adams if he doesn't cost too much?

Oh it’s not gonna happen. I’m just saying what I’d do if I’m the Chargers GM.

Back up the brinks truck. It’s exactly what they need.

Sucks how it ended, but I think Chargers fans have to be happy about the massive turnaround they had this season, in what was supposed to be a rebuilding year. Defense was among the NFL's best, and they added a star in McConkey. No reason to think this isn't a team to take another step forward next year.

Gotta wonder if the fire situation at home didn’t have at least some impact on what a terrible effort LA just turned in

Guess we’ll see with the Rams tomorrow. But that was not a team ready for a playoff game. Herber throws 3 picks all season then throws 4 tonight

Chargers need a legit X WR and a play maker at RB
I think they'll make some kind of splash at RB. They want to be a run 1st team, and that's tough without a better RB. Could be a 1st/2nd round pick, could be a FA or trade, but I doubt it'll be the former Raven duo again.
It’s a decent year in the draft. A lot of slightly older backs, but some good ones. I could see them drafting one.

That's possible, though the Rams have 2 extra days, and have a "been there before" that the Chargers didn't.

This is the draft to get a RB.
I love Omarion Hampton (they don't pick high enough for Jeanty), but I certainly see Harbaugh/Roman not wanting to spend a #1 or even #2 on a RB, and signing someone like Najee Harris, and thinking he'll be much better with better blocking.
