Game Thread-Wildcards-Seattle@Green Bay (1 Viewer)

"we want the ball....we're gonna score"i love it
The cool thing about it was, he was grinning when he said it. Who says the game isn't fun anymore? Tell me Brett Favre isn't having a blast out there today.

Hasselback will be my fantasy QB next year. Gotta love a guy talkin' smack on the frozen tundra of Lambeau field. Sorry Pennington.

Matt Hasselbeck is my new hero, I love his moxie. LOL!Pretty ironic that each team's 'castoffs' are beating them:Hasselbeck vs. Green
Hasselbeck wasn't cast off -- he had no future in Green Bay with Favre there. The Packers knew how good he was, that's why they used him to improve their draft position in 2000. Unfortunately, the player they chose (Jamal Reynolds) is a complete dog. And I'll say this before the OT even starts. Even if the Seahawks take the kick and win the game, the NFL's OT system is still the way to go.

I think it's best as well. Both teams had plenty of opportunities to win the game in the first 60 minutes. Review that "fumble".

Take some shots downfield !! Don't let the coin flip decide it.
Do you know the percentages associated with overtime outcomes? What percentage of the time does a team win on the first possession? second possession? etc...

Initial ruling a fumble, but I *think* he's down. Not sure on this one.

i'll be shocked if this isn't overturned. he was absolutely down. knee, ball, forearm, elbow.

OT percentagesLast year, 15 of the 25 overtime games were won by the team that won the coin toss, 10 of which were won by the club that had the ball first. The percentage of teams winning on the first possession of overtime has steadily increased since 1994.

Has the Packers' defense been this dreadful the entire season? How many times today has Seattle converted 3-and-longs?Nick Barnett rookie of the year, my ###!

Great game, but I wouldn't put it in the class ofKC-Miami 1971 (or '72)Miami-SD (Kellen Winslow game & hook-n-ladder play)

i thought they don't bother kicking the extra point in otw/e don't matter as long as the pack win on an ahman green td
they won't kick the extra point but there is no way they can score more than 6 points which will make it 33-27
