Why wouldn't they just call it Saturday Night Football?

Monday Night Football did it for years in the preseason and when they got Saturday games. They promoted those games as special editions of MNF. It is smart and it is really basic marketing. You might find it stupid, but it would be a failed opportunity not to continue the label and brand their product, which is Thursday Night Football.

This vein of the thread is dumb, but marketing is marketing. Really basic branding is being attacked? Whatever. I won't respond again, but I do have an MBA. and I have studied and written volumes on branding. I don't think it's smart. I know it is. I've seen studies done on the MNF brand. You may not like it, but a lot of Saturday NFL watchers are learning about TNF tonight, whether FF junkies are or not.

ok I will say it that call vs Roy Williams was horrible it was not a penalty. Also just as Matt Millen stated in the pre game Roy Williams and double moves do not go very well. Dallas needs to stp that
