Unless Big Bad Chad Simpson runs another one back!I can't tell you how bad the Jags KO coverage has to be to let that happen!!!!!They'll get a 2 minute drill
= another 8-9 points for Manning.They'll get a 2 minute drill
I don't know that I've ever seen that called.TD MJD, but Jax got away with 2 OL pushing the pile forward. Easily could have been a 10-yd penalty.
That happens on almost every short yardage play anymore 'cause its NEVER called. It's like getting caught with a joint in CA. Still illegal, but nobody really cares.TD MJD, but Jax got away with 2 OL pushing the pile forward. Easily could have been a 10-yd penalty.
nope but appreciate the concernHope you can sleep easy now.thanks #######Now that we're all excited, watch him end up at 3-24.![]()
Never seen it called myself either....I don't know that I've ever seen that called.TD MJD, but Jax got away with 2 OL pushing the pile forward. Easily could have been a 10-yd penalty.
If he doesn't anticipate the hit he scores.reggie almost broke that one
But it could have been......Never seen it called myself either....I don't know that I've ever seen that called.TD MJD, but Jax got away with 2 OL pushing the pile forward. Easily could have been a 10-yd penalty.
I wonder what the logic is of that even being a penalty..... never thought about it. Why CAN'T you allow an offense to push the ballcarrier? That happens on almost every short yardage play anymore 'cause its NEVER called. It's like getting caught with a joint in CA. Still illegal, but nobody really cares.TD MJD, but Jax got away with 2 OL pushing the pile forward. Easily could have been a 10-yd penalty.
Sure he goes down easy, but how many games has he missed in his career? Plus, it sure worked for Harrison. Is it just me or does Reggie Wayne go down often and try to avoid hits. He should have kept his balance there and he had a TD.
Actually had it called against my son's football teamNever seen it called myself either....I don't know that I've ever seen that called.TD MJD, but Jax got away with 2 OL pushing the pile forward. Easily could have been a 10-yd penalty.
I'm sure there were some pretty good RB carrying wedges some 70 years ago that got that rule put in the books.I wonder what the logic is of that even being a penalty..... never thought about it. Torry Holt and Isaac Bruce always did the samething.Sure he goes down easy, but how many games has he missed in his career? Plus, it sure worked for Harrison. Is it just me or does Reggie Wayne go down often and try to avoid hits. He should have kept his balance there and he had a TD.

fair enough, but it's football, not badmintonSure he goes down easy, but how many games has he missed in his career? Plus, it sure worked for Harrison. Is it just me or does Reggie Wayne go down often and try to avoid hits. He should have kept his balance there and he had a TD.
Let's see...J..A..C..K..S..O..N..V..I.. L...L..E....Yep, no "D".I'm pretty sure EVERY WR and Dallas Clark was open on the Collie TD.
I think I heard in an earlier game that it's only pulling a ball carrier forward that is illegal now. That happens on almost every short yardage play anymore 'cause its NEVER called. It's like getting caught with a joint in CA. Still illegal, but nobody really cares.TD MJD, but Jax got away with 2 OL pushing the pile forward. Easily could have been a 10-yd penalty.
please be right. where is he? jennings in?could be time for another MJD TD!![]()
One of those guys don't belong. Should have said Welker, Mason, and Ward.A tough WR like Austin, Mason, or Ward score on that play. That's not Reggie Wayne's game I guess.
Yep. The smaller wide receivers always go out of their way to avoid big hits, even if it means going down a tad prematurely. It isn't worth getting an extra yard or two if your stud WR gets plastered and misses a lot of time. Plus, a small WR isn't gonna have a long career if he takes big hits like that all of the time. It is self-preservation, really.Torry Holt and Isaac Bruce always did the samething.Sure he goes down easy, but how many games has he missed in his career? Not Andre Reed... Best RAC WR ever!Yep. The smaller wide receivers always go out of their way to avoid big hits, even if it means going down a tad prematurely. Taking hits as a WR for an extra 2 or 3 yards is a career-limiting move.fair enough, but it's football, not badmintonSure he goes down easy, but how many games has he missed in his career? playing like golfers trying to beat the rain.was that like the fastest qtr of football ever?
The "braintrust" of Jax has done that quite a bit this year...towards the end of halfs, in obvious passing situations, Jennings has been in to block. I think it's stupid to take your best weapon off the field, but whateverany idea why mjd wasnt out there that last possession before the half?
