Game Thread - Wk 15 - Indianapolis Colts at Jacksonville Jaguars (2 Viewers)

Reggie Wayne is officially on my never-draft-again list. Five weeks in a row I fell for the 'never bench your studs' bull####.

Starting Wayne and MJD in one league and Wayne vs Manning+Stover in another so still kind of mixed feelings so far. The two MJD teams that fell in week 14 though I am not pleased with as he has been so hit or miss this year with monster games and a lot of coming up small. Let's have another 2 TD's in the 2nd half

Is it just me or does Reggie Wayne go down often and try to avoid hits. He should have kept his balance there and he had a TD. I dont think he realized there was no one left there to beat.

TD MJD, but Jax got away with 2 OL pushing the pile forward. Easily could have been a 10-yd penalty.
That happens on almost every short yardage play anymore 'cause its NEVER called. It's like getting caught with a joint in CA. Still illegal, but nobody really cares.
I wonder what the logic is of that even being a penalty..... never thought about it. Why CAN'T you allow an offense to push the ballcarrier?

Getting away from my fantasy interests for a moment, the Jags can't be thrilled with their defense .... 2 plays and the Colts are back in FG range and likely headed for another TD. Don't mind me if I root for it not to be a FG and either a Wayne TD or a running play from Addai :P

As an MJD and Clark owner, I'm loving this Thursday game.

Now just need Dallas to take it easy the rest of the way as I'm facing him in a league too.

Sure he goes down easy, but how many games has he missed in his career? Plus, it sure worked for Harrison.

I'm sure there were some pretty good RB carrying wedges some 70 years ago that got that rule put in the books.

Hey did anyone here see the Dolphins-Colts game? If not, just pretend that the Jags are wearing a "tealer" shade of blue. It's happening again.

manning with the lazer like pass to collie.... if you blinked you missed it lol

these young receivers on the colts are growing up quick.

Let's see...

J..A..C..K..S..O..N..V..I.. L...L..E....

Yep, no "D".

I'm pretty sure EVERY WR and Dallas Clark was open on the Collie TD.

Man, teams still give safety help on Wayne. Middle of the field is wide open for Peyton the past 5-6 weeks. 1 or 2 of Collie/Garcon/Clark run wide open on every play.

If you are the Jags would you have called time or kept them as they did? There's 35 seconds, 3 time outs, and the Jags have the ball on their own 40 already. Good call I guess.

Torry Holt and Isaac Bruce always did the samething.
Yep. The smaller wide receivers always go out of their way to avoid big hits, even if it means going down a tad prematurely. It isn't worth getting an extra yard or two if your stud WR gets plastered and misses a lot of time. Plus, a small WR isn't gonna have a long career if he takes big hits like that all of the time. It is self-preservation, really.

Not Andre Reed... Best RAC WR ever!

Not thrilled he wasn't out there for the last drive and that he's returning some kicks but if it means more 2nd half carries so be it.

any idea why mjd wasnt out there that last possession before the half?
The "braintrust" of Jax has done that quite a bit this year...towards the end of halfs, in obvious passing situations, Jennings has been in to block. I think it's stupid to take your best weapon off the field, but whatever
