Game-Time Decisions (1 Viewer)

I already posted this idea under a different topic name, but didn't get any response from the higher-ups.

I think a good idea would be to make projections for certain back-ups where the starter is a dreaded "Game-Time Decision" (GTD). Most likely, the projections would be for players that are truly questionable, so there really wouldn't be that many of them at any given time. (If the starter is probable, you probably wouldn't be playing the backup, and if they're doubtful, the backup's projections most likely already show that they're expected to start.)

The idea is that for the back-ups, there would be a projection based on if the starter can't go, as well as the normal projection. The reason for it is that it would be nice to know whether to play the back-up or someone else.

For example, last week with Westbrook. In the final projections, Westbrook was one of the highest ranked RBs for the week. If Westbrook couldn't play, it would've been nice to be able to compare projections for C. Buck to other players to decide who to play. Obviously, you couldn't assume that CBuck would be able to produce as well as Westbrook was projected, but how would he do? It would be nice to have that projection before the early games start, because most leagues require lineups to be submitted by then.

I would like to see Footballguys come up with a projection for players in that situation to have a better idea when deciding between guys like CBuck, Kenny Watson, Kenton Keith, etc. I've searched and not been able to find anything like it, but I can't believe that I'm the first person to have thought this would be extremely helpful. These types of decisions can be the difference between winning and losing or being a shark instead of shark food. Which is exactly why I come to Footballguys.

Other than posting it here, I'm not sure how to get Joe and the other Footballguys' attention. Help! Who else thinks this would be helpful?
