Romo struggled a bit against the Colts version of the Bucs cover 2 defense. Unfortunitly the Bucs lost Simeon Rice. Gruden needs to let thier best player try to keep them in this game. I don't think the Bucs can win but they could at least make it respectable.

Romo didn't struggle at all. The Cowboys game plan was to limit the Colts offensive snaps, so they played it very close to the vest. Great strategy for winning an NFL game against a great offense.The Cowboys (and Romo) could have put up serious points and yards had they wanted. Smart teams do NOT force a shootout against Peyton Manning.

Perhaps your right but I do not see how the Cowboys would not put up points as you say if they wanted to against a at that time undefeated Colts team.Fact is the Dallas defense forced several turnovers that stopped the Colts from scoring. Dallas was still behind going into the 4th quarter with a long offensive drive to tie it. Up until that point the Dallas offense had done very little, thier 1st score being an interception return for a TD by Aaron Glenn.

You can choose to see it as Dallas choosing not to score until late in the game against the dangerous Colts offense if you want to but I would still call it struggling at least in terms of Romo and the passing game. The running game was working all game and Parcells never abandons it.

Romo threw 0 TD and 1 interception in this game and his yardage was lower than average as well.

I guess we will see how he does against the Bucs.
