Garcon - Is he startable this week considering the QST WR's? (1 Viewer)

Just noticed on the sticky threads that White, Gonzo and Collie are all questionable. Gotta assume Joseph will be on Wayne (and possibly some double teams) does that mean that Wee Wee Pierre will see some balls throw his way? Gotta assume Indy will have to heave the ball around to keep up right?

If they have a chance they are gonna need to use Pierre to stretch the field to open up the run game. Kerry can get the ball deep so I expect them to try a few bombs. If Pierre catches the ball, he'll have a big week. Those are low% throws though...

Last I heard, White was a possible cut due to numbers crunch but they were able to keep him. His injury status isn't going to bump Garcon.

I would be fine putting Garcon in as my third WR this week.

KC has been around a million years and it's uncomfy to think we don't know what the results will yield after seeing him so much, but we don't. He's never been in the Colts offense.

Peyton was groomed by Moore who took a lesser role when Dungy left. Peyton learned to think like Moore and could easily be considered their OC.

KC has led the Titans O to 30 points most of the times he played the Texans. Obviously he fed off a better running game and the Texans DBs weren't very good then either.

The Texans have put some effort into the DBs playing musical chairs with a ton of players the last 4-5 years. I've noticed some good S, but they either don't stay or are coached to be terribly out of position. Their DBs are sometimes good before they sign there or a real good prospect, yet they are horrible in Houston. Personally, I wonder again about the coaching. The Titans signed one Texas DB coach that Munchak was curiously excited to get. We shall see. The Texans know that if they get a good secondary they will be a very tough D to beat. They're front seven is far better than most seem to let on and this is a huge point for them.

The Colts most assuredly signed KC because he is so familiar with the defenses in that division and when it was just one game he was starting, this looked like the right guy for one game as he did well against the Texans.

Kubiak is about outscoring divisional opponents and I can only recall one low scoring grind it out running duel. Possibly the weak secondary pushed his hand to make that decision.

The Colts should stay away from the LBs and middle of the field, but will have to keep Kerry upright even though they start a rookie T. It's risky to send guys deep and expect Kerry to have time so they're not likely to do that often. The Texans are sure to attack that rookie T.

Hopefully that's enough info for you. You've been here five years. You know the rules, please don't post WDIS in this forum for it takes up the space where news threads should be. Thank you

Thanks for the input. I'm not a Garcon owner, hence the "this is not a WDIS thread" I wrote. I just enjoy general conversation that may impact players not being talked about.
