Gates, Merriman Limited in Practice (1 Viewer)

You are misreading the chart. No one on either team is on THURSDAY'S or FRIDAY'S injury update. So no one is listed as doubtful. The only one classified is Parker.

Doesnt matter... if you check any Patriot message board... the Chargers dont have a chance in hell this weekend.

The Patriots are getting no respect, us-against-world and are pissed off. Its over.

All-Pro TE Antonio Gates missed practice today with a sore back, but said he "would be ready'' for practice Thursday. Gates said his back was sore after Sunday's game and when it "tightened up'' this morning, the decision was made to give him the day off. He appeared to be moving fairly stiffly but said, "For the most part I'm fine.''

Also sitting out practice today were WR Eric Parker, who remains out following toe surgery this summer, and FB Andrew Pinnock (hamstring). LB Shawne Merriman was limited in his participation with a sore Achilles' tendon. Two players listed on the injury report after Sunday's game with the Bears, SS Clinton Hart and KR Darren Sproles, practiced.

Gates said. "I'll be back tomorrow."

Gates was busy in Sunday's 14-3 win over Chicago, with nine catches for 107 yards. Among them was a 17-yard touchdown pass from LaDainian Tomlinson.

"I took a lot of hits, man," Gates said.

"It's a concern because he didn't practice, but I think he's all right," coach Norv Turner said. "It'll be day-to-day. I'd assume he'll be able to do part of practice tomorrow."
