Antonio Gates was apparently misquoted Thursday by the San Diego Union-Tribune when the paper had him saying that he wouldn't start the season opener.
The press conference video on the Chargers' site below clearly shows Gates saying he will start. While Gates is not 100 percent, it certainly sounds like he's going to start the game. He's been practicing well, and the team doesn't seem worried about his health. Play him. Sep. 5 - 11:16 am et
