Anyone fail to mention this game is 50% meaningless for the Packers?
Is that why they're playing half-###ed?
I would take half-assed today. Half-assed would have been enough to beat the Bears.
35-7 guy :bye:
Division champions guy...
Hey, Ill be the first to say the Bears have been a disgrace this year. But its just good old fun beating up on the Packers.

I'm sure we made your season today. Enjoy the sweep, like someone posted earlier they earned it..See ya next year..

Nice win for the Bears. Lovie Smith is now 6-2 against the Packers.

The Packers need to just burn this game film. Brutal loss.

 The Bears have been pretty much horrid to watch this year, but that doesn't take away from my enjoyment of today's game.

Packer really needed this game for playoff implications and did not get it done.

The Bears playing for no reason other than pride beat a team playing for much more.

The two Bears losses may turn out to be the reason the Pack did not get home field throughout NFC playoffs.

Today's game mattered.

The Bears will be much better next season, of this I'm sure, the defense is still young, and if they stay healthy, Orton will lead the way! Bear Down!
 :bye: :lmao:
If the Bears can dominate the best, or second best, team in the NFC without 8 starters, what will they do next season, assuming the team is healthy?
The Bears have no problem getting up against us, but what about the rest of their games? Too bad they can't play the Packers every week huh?

Like I said earlier, we played like ####. Never showed up. But like last year when we mauled the Bears in week 16, I don't mind a blowout loss here if we make it to the Super Bowl.

This wasn't a meaningless game, they had a lot to play for today and mailed it in, but it'll be forgotten pretty quickly if we get to the Super Bowl.

Way to take it to us and congrats Bear fans.

The Packers played 95% assed.Try to keep up here.We looked like the Bears of 2006 vs the Packers in game 16.
Let's see if you can keep up this time. That game, last year, was 100% meaningless? What was this game, today?

In all seriousness, I root for GB come playoff time, and I like Brett Favre. See y'all next year...

:runs away:

:lmao:Dude relax, it's over, you won. :lmao:

On a sidenote: I started the Bears DEF at the last minute over the Vikings DEF. Looks like I made the right move. Championship.

Still suck unless the weather is that bad and they play teams playing their worst game of the year.

Did anyone just hear Orton? "It was cold, but I have a beard, so..."
I heard it on the radio in the car post-game, I was dying. I seriously couldn't tell if he was trying to be funny though because they just played the quick soundbite. God I hope so.

I enjoyed Favre talking to Urlacher after the game, and Orton like a little kid patting Favre on the back to get his attention, and then getting big-timed by Favre - with a simple chin nod.

Let's go Pack - keep the NFC Championship in the North!!!

Lovie said in his first PC as a Bear, the first goal of this organization is to beat the Packers.Successful season.
Loser attitude. If your goal is just to beat the Packers? Wonderful.Successful season is going from the Super Bowl to pitiful with tons of question marks going into the offseason?Even if the Packers fizzle out this year in the playoffs, this season has been far better than I expected.I was thinking this was an 8-8 team. Just too young to do what they have been doing. They go into the offseason in good cap shape, with a ton of young talent to build on.

I was at Soldier Field yesterday and would say I've never attended a game with such severe weather - this as a long time Packers season ticket holder who has been at Lambeau and Soldier Field many times in late season and playoff games. The only game I can recall that was close was a Monday night game at Soldier Field many years ago when a severe rain/wind storm hit and made the conditions virtually unplayable. Extreme cold alone generally isn't a big problem, but the wind gusts on the field yesterday made it very difficult to do anything other than run the ball. I don't understand why Mike McCarthy and his staff didn't seem to realize that simple fact yesterday. The Packers and their fans should all be extremely disappointed if not a bit confused today. The Bears were playing without several key starters and absolutely dominated all aspects of the game, including coaching/gameplan.

The quote is being taken out of context. When Lovie had his first press conference when he joined the Bears, he said he had three main goals:A) Beat the PackersB) Win the DivisionC) Win the Super Bowl

Nice to see the Bears win without 8 starters, quite an accomplishment, and a good sign for next season, even if it lands them at the #9 spot in the draft, as opposed to the #7 slot. Shore up the offensive line, get the defense healthy, and the Bears will probably be in that 10 win range once again. The NFC North is looking pretty tough down the road...

Playing in the cold is mental game, and I like what I saw out of the Bears youngsters, they played like men yesterday, and the same cannot be said of the Packers, outside of Barnett/Hawk and a few others...

I can't disagree with this at all. Quite a disappointing Packer performance.
