Gerald McRath (1 Viewer)

Is he worthy of a pickup?
Worthy of a pickup is dependent on your league and who is available. I am in a deep league and have had him stashed all year. Since he is not playing nickel, his success is dependent on matchups, at least IMO. This week he is on primetime against Jax who I am not sure even have enough WRs to force the opponent into a nickel package. Leads me to believe he is going to have a solid game. I'm starting him this week.

:lmao: Same here. Just pulled him up from Taxi squad for the long haul in 12 Team dynasty. Plan on extending and getting big things out of his future this year and next.

did all those tackles come on downs 1&2 or was McRath playing in the nickel this week against San Diego?
McRath didn't take a subpackage snap last week, but the Titans faced 71 snaps last week and had 62 tackle opportunities on 34 rush attempts faced. Interestingly, though it likely won't impact McRath much, the Titans benched Will Witherspoon and went with a dime package in the fourth quarter. They've had so many injuries in the secondary that the dime has never been a possibility. We'll see how that develops after the bye week.
