Thanks. This is one of the reasons I have the great job I have now, though. "Ken" was impressed with how I handled "Tim's" crap during my last 9 months there. He also was the first to completely exonerate me of any wrongdoing after seeing all the facts (followed by another CPA doing a forensic audit, an employment lawyer and a private investigator....all paid for by Tim ).

Actually got 3 of these yesterday. Missed the last two as I was actually working.Then last night I get a message from an old co-worker. "Just saw I missed a call from you last night, call me back." Now he is spoofing? I don't mean to pour more salt on this, but at some point the reality of the situation (that he is the failure) is probably going to come crashing down on him in dramatic fashion. He obviously is already crazy, but is he "buy a gun and take care of 'justice' on my own" crazy? I mean right now he still is living in his own fantasy world that has you getting canned by your boss and the cops arresting you (and others) for the failure/fraud of his business. At some point reality is likely going to set in....he'll get a night in jail for harassment, his wife will leave him, etc. He's obviously obsessed and I'd worry that he'd start peaking in windows. Best of luck to you...I really feel bad for you. The tone of this guy's e-mails and texts kind of freak me out.

At this point I would file a police report for harassment (actually would have done it long ago).

Sure, it may not go anywhere right now, but start getting the history documented. May pay off down the road.

E-mail doesn't qualify under harassment....especially since I'm not the one receiving them.Spoofing and "private" numbers are difficult to prove.He may be crazy, but he is smart and knows exactly where the lines are. However, I have saved and recorded everything and have already gone through the process of trying to get a restraining order. As long as he is not threatening me physically and I can't prove he is the one calling, then there is nothing I can do outside of a civil suit.

Not sure what the ####### means in the first sentence, but that is my current debate. My only attempt to go after him was the restraining order.If I do anything I think I will take him to small claims court over my paycheck and expense check. Those are easily proven items I can take to court and at the very least waste his time and money without me having to put up any real money.In the past I've been hesitant to fight back because I though it would set off a crap storm of harassment and lawsuits, but at this point I don't know what else he would do and it doesn't appear that he is going to ever stop. There has been much debating over what we should do next.

I have been following this situation for a while....I will say that you are a much better person than I am. This would have come to fisticuff's for me by now ....Good luck with this on going saga....Any chance you can hire a hacker to shut down his servers weekly? She was fired in February 2009 (7 months before me). She ran the company for several years as the general manager and had pretty much every level of authority an employee could have.

Subject: Amended 941'sJust wanted to let you know that several former employees will be effected by the amended 941's we prepared. This includes Betty and Jayrod for the theft of payroll via unauthorized raises and bogus vacation accrual paid out prorated to the raises. Additionally they were paying hourly employees (friends and family) advances in lieu of hourly raises. In other words instead of giving the hourly raise, they advanced the entire years pay in one lump sum. We also had theft to the petty cash account and of course sizable credit card fraud through expense reimbursement and company credit cards. No need in withholding payroll deductions on stolen money. Sent me 15 texts in last two days and he's trying to make it personal. Emails to current boss and others about my "criminal" activity. Libelous statements abound to several third parties. I've contacted a lawyer.

He has been steadily ramping things up via email over the past month or so. Direct contact started with cc'ing me on an email and now he is just texting me....actually got a 16th while I'm typing this. Anxiously awaiting a call back from the lawyer about how to handle this.

I have never responded. Since October 2009, the only communication back to him I have EVER done was one e-mail telling him to leave me alone. That was about a year ago. All of this continuous communication is one-sided.
