I'm trying to figure out the Giant's number 3 WR, who I think will gradually increase in productivity as Toomer ages. Just saw this headline below. What perplexes me is that I thought Carter was their number 3 and the comment above implies Tyree was number 3; he was their returner, maybe that is why they liked him. I've also attached mid-season headlines which showed Tyree starting the season as #3 and then being replaced by Carter mid-October. Hell if Denver release Luke, how good can he be; it's not like Denver is chock full of good WRs - after Rod Smith and Lelie, you have Watts, Adams, and DeVoe. Maybe the progress of Adams and DeVoe caused the release of Luke; I know Watts hasn't lived up to expectations. Anyway, does anyone have insights on the Giants #3 WR?THE NEWSThe Giants signed free agent wide receiver Triandos Luke to a reserve/futures contract on Wednesday, the team's official web site reported.
