Giving a Donation In Lieu of a Gift - Etiquette (1 Viewer)

Going to a birthday party where they asked for no gifts, but said you could make a donation if you wanted.

Do I need to make the donation before the party?  Should I bring a card indicating said donation?  Does it matter?

If the party is for a kid I’m donating all day because it shows they are being raised the right way.

If the party is for an adult I walk up and kick the birthdayee right in the nuts for the LOOK AT ME I CARE ABOUT SOME CAUSE BUT WANT YOU TO SPEND THE MONEY FOR IT.

My wife and I asked for donations for Christmas to two charities we like. People just printed out their PayPal receipt and stuff like that.

Donation is dealers choice.
