Glacially Paced, Sloth-like Tempo Mock (1 Viewer)

IND added offense in the first(center Erving), so adds defense (Orchard in the second). Mathis is aging, and other OLBs haven't generated a lot of pressure of pressure. Orchard is a great athlete, with 1,300+ receiving yards and 17 TDs on offense as a prep senior, and had 18.5 sacks last year.

IND - Nate Orchard, DE/LB Utah

GB (DE Arik Armstead), SEA (CB Jalen Collins) and NE (DT Jordan Phillips) are the final three picks of the second round, and wrap up this mock (first round picks shown). Thanks to everybody who contributed.

WR/TE-tweener Funchess and LB McKinney have already been mentioned as possibilities for GB by Crippler. Thoughts on those two, or alternatives?

Both are on my small board for NE. Mckinney is a freak and Funchess looks like a dude that could wreck in GB.

No interest in round three?

We could open a rift in the time space continuum by going too far perhaps?

It is somewhat hard to judge a teams picks if they only had one (like Buffalo). I found it useful to reflect on what was available for the Vikings at WR in round 2 for example which made the previous pick of a WR less appealing. In a way that wouldn't have been so without the look back.

This thread is not even a week old. Barely worthy of the Glacial time frame suggested in the title.

I'll leave it to others if they want to conduct their own longer mocks, still almost a month from the real draft. But for me, this is a good place to bring things to a conclusion.

I'm going to be away from the computer for the rest of the evening, I'll leave it up to everybody if you want to individually make some command decisions for the last three picks, collaboratively find a consensus on one/some/all of them, or table the remainder untill tomorrow?

Thanks again for the contributions.

No thank you for starting this.

It is interesting to see how much some perceived value has changed recently. Still not sure if Ronald Darby and Sammie Coates are falling or just forgotten.
I won't be surprised when Coates goes at the end of the 2nd/beginning of the 3rd.

Someone more qualified might wanna weigh in for GB, but as said above, Funchess and Mckinney are both solid picks here.

I wouldn't say Coates is falling as much as other players at his position are just rising very fast.

Opinions on Darby have been all over the map for awhile, seen anywhere between picks #15 and #98.

My small board for NE in case their is some contention:

Benardrick Mckinney, LB Miss St
Danielle Hunter, DE LSU

Hau'oli Jamora, LB Wash
Ali Marpet, G Hobart
Arie Kouandjio, G Bama

Funchess, TE Mich

I think there will likely be guards at the 96, same with WRs and RBs.

I will take McKinny for the Packers than. With guys like Walford, O'Leasy, James, Kroft, they can get a TE later if they want. But I do like Funchess doing the Finley role and think he would be very good at it but ala most people, I know the O way better than the D and what kind of LB they can get in the 3rd.

Good pick, could also enable GB to return Clay Matthews to his more natural and accustomed OLB position, potentially making them better at two positions.

SEA up, first pick in the draft (Jimmy Graham trade).

Let's make it so (not sure if they want to look for Unger's replacement in the draft, former OAK center Wisniewski visited, but should be some in the third and maybe even fourth round - and nobody has been better in recent years drafting in day three).

SEA - Eric Rowe, CB/S Utah

Super Bowl winner NE has the final pick of the second round and mock.

"With the 64th pick in the 2015 NFL Draft the New England Patriots select WR / TE Devin Funchess, Michigan"

Brady gets another weapon and Belichick gets another player that he can create mismatches with.

Gronk, Wright, Chandler and Funchess. #getbigWith the 96, 97 or 101 they should probably grab a guard and a rb or two of either.
