Glass bottom pool to be suspended 115 feet up between two buildings (1 Viewer)

I'm not afraid of heights but I'm not a fan of deep water either. I'll stick my feet in when the pool gets completed. In the picture my apartment building is on the left. :mansion:

At least I know what a pool is. I can only assume you go to the "Orangery" to get one of those fake tans sprayed on you since "mostly cloudy" passes for "summer". It's a country where they can't hold a tennis tounament in the middle of summer without rain delays. Does it make any sense at all to be on the bleeding edge of the swimming pool sciences?

I am already dreading the scene where this thing gets shoehorned into the next Bond film.

i would think the glass (or whatever material is used to build it) would have to have a little give in case the buildings swayed in the wind. Or maybe the buildings are too short for that to be an issue

It's got to be Plexi or some kind of composite plastic (not knowing what types there are...just that it's not glass). Either way, I just don't like the concept. It's one thing to have a piece installed on an observation platform otherwise made of steel, etc. It's an entirely different thing to have the whole bridge like that...AND filled with water.

it's likely fixed on side and has room to move a little on the other.

whatever- no gracias.

but if I went in there, I'd be splashing the hell out of anybody below.
