pretty sure i told you to go there. i tell everyone to go there. one of the better meals of my life. i buddied up with the staff and they let me go in the kitchen and meet the chef and have a drink with him at the end of the night. loved it!And the French one.
The menu at that place looked outstanding.
are they sent frozen? i'm a snob about frozen meat/food.Dave can probably answer better but I have only ordered once from here a couple of years ago and ordered 3 things ...they were all fantastic.
My favorite - duck prosciutto (don't #### it up with anything else)
2nd favorite - stagberry salame (elk with mead and dried blueberries)
Still loved - coppa (love coppa ...and this stuff is a lot more like proscuitto than lunchmeat) - just not on the same golden plane as the other two. Looks like they are out right now.
I don't recall for sure, but I don't think so. Just give them a call, it's a one store outfit, they seemed like they would go out of their way to work with you.are they sent frozen? i'm a snob about frozen meat/food.
Try Prezi. It's what all the cool kids useI'll be purchasing PowerPoint for Dummies this weekend. I am giving a presentation to dozens of doctors in 13 days.

You think I'd let a little thing like the snowpocalypse keep me home with the lunatics in my house? Oh no no no....I have made it to the office every damn day. Sure, I almost died on Wednesday, but I'm far more likely to die being stuck at home anyway, so it was a wash. I've got some firewood stored up in the back yard using a homemade wood shelter I built this summer. It does a good job keeping the wood dry so long as rain/snow comes straight down at a 90 degree vertical. Otherwise, well....let's just say I used up most of the wrapping paper we had left to get the wet wood to ignite the day we lost power. Had a feeling cancelling the newspaper a decade ago would come back to bite me. Course once the fire was roaring, the power came back on and then the twins thought it would be fun to try and jump into the fire place.GM how you getting on in the snowpocalypse we have here in Portland? I can drop some food and water off, maybe firewood if you're desperate

we had a Hawthorne tree in front of our house. Terrible thing, inch long hypodermic needles, dropped leaves in fall, buds in spring and berries in summer, grew like a weed and generally ugly as ####. So i told the city it was dying and they let me chop it down. The guy i hired to cut it down asked if i wanted the wood. Hell yeah i told him, i'm going to burn every ####### inch of this mother####er. I let it dry in my backyard for 2 years. This year i started burning it. Makes unbelievable firewood. Unincorporated Wash County which means I can cut down any mother forking tree I want to on my property. We took out a few before moving in, including a giant maple. More wood from that than a bukkake marathon. For a while, I just had FREE WOOD on CL and watched strangers haul wood away; even poplar wood, which smell like cat urine when it burns. You guys gonna hump?Going to drive down to visit the wife in LA in a couple of hours. It rained/snowed on the ridge route (that's the pass between god's country and LA) earlier today.
if I don't make it, the keys to my CSTU alias is up for grabs.

You definitely want to use a different style of "wipe" between each slide so that it resembles Episode IV: A New Hope. Sound effect during each transition also highly advised.Tbh, I have no earthly idea. But I don't want to look like a goober to the docs that haven't already identified me as one.![]()
Go on Fiver and have some dweeb make you a great presentation for $20. Probably cheaper than the book.kevzilla said:I'll be purchasing PowerPoint for Dummies this weekend. I am giving a presentation to dozens of doctors in 13 days.

That's not bad advice, but I like a challenge. Plus, I have a feeling most of my group's functions will get outsourced down the road, so I need to demonstrate value.Go on Fiver and have some dweeb make you a great presentation for $20. Probably cheaper than the book.
The only thing I've ever been really right about in my life is knowing that marriage didn't mean I was getting laid whenever I wanted. Yet I did it anyway.I am. Can't speak for her.

Oh. Then my advice is PowerPoint sucks and actually detracts from people listening to you. That's not bad advice, but I like a challenge. Plus, I have a feeling most of my group's functions will get outsourced down the road, so I need to demonstrate value.
I used to have a guy that delivered dry wood to the house.Poplar blows. Maple is good if you let it dry.
I remember the good ole days of living in unincorporated WASH CTY. It's like the wild West compared to city of Portland. It's like 1956 Stalingrad, only more restrictions.

Fry's here sells modems and HDMI cards and ####. No booze though.Several times a year the Fry's here (Kroger) has 30% off wine and spirits sales. I've started loading up on the 2012 Hedges Red Mountain Blend, because at $20-$21/btl it's an effing steal.
Sorry, I missed most of wine chat.
