GM's Thread About Everything/GM's Thread About Nothing (12 Viewers)

We have a fire going tonight in the house so if Mr owl, aka dirty Sanchez, decides to give it another shot he's gonna get baked.

Totally random but my hatred of In-n-Out has now reached Decon 5.

There's one about 100 yards from the hotel I'm staying at.  Wife and I walked down there just because it was the only fast food place nearby.  They weren't that busy but it still took forever.  And it was standard as usual.  So overhyped.

Then today I'm driving by the same place and witnessed a very near accident because the line for the divethru was backed up all the way to the entrance from the street.  Some yahoo, who had to have is triple double doggy style, had the ### end of his truck sticking out into 50mph traffic.

Rant over
So you're at peace? (Also nice spelling Forrest)

Heading out for a run in a bit and then off to St. Pete for lunch with friends.  You?
Nada lotta (GM, hey!). Gray, gloomy, and chilly here. I'll probably go on a cooking binge today so I don't have to during the week, watch some college hoops, maybe some of the 4 p.m. NFL game since NBC hit the lottery and got the 1 p.m. game moved to prime time.

My best friend growing up lives in your neck of the woods - Tarpon Springs, I think

Sounds like a good day to me minus the gloom and chill.  I go to Tarpon Springs from time to time.  There is a retro arcade up there I love.  Tons of pinball and 80s arcade games.

Feel like I've been on a 3 day bender only without the drinking part.

Scouts wanted to do some "real" winter camping, so we signed them up for a district event where we set up camp Friday, then travelled by bus to Northern Kentucky University where some faculty volunteered their time and the planetarium there for the boys to earn the Astronomy merit badge.

Everything would have been great except we got 33 degrees and rain the whole time. Fields we camped on looked like WWI battlefields - just pure slop where if you stood still for any length of time you sank over your ankles in the stuff.

We got set up Friday night ok and all the boys were reasonably prepared/geared up, but it rained all damn day Saturday while we were at the college (which was a fantastic experience for the boys), but when the campsite looked even worse despite not having boys stomping around I never it all day, we decided to cook our dinner, break camp, and bail, which we pretty much never do.

We could've toughed it out, but with the main goal already accomplished, no chance of stargazing or even just being able to set up chairs around a fire, we chose to bail rather than be stuck in the tents from 7 PM on.

Now  I've got a garage full for wet gear and tents to deal with and I feel like I've been hit by a truck. At least next week we get to shoot a bunch of guns,

I have a strange feeling your response went over my head but, to answer honestly, I have no clue
The distilling process and recipe for the tequila were initially used only for bottles intended for private use by Rande Gerber and George Clooney, two friends who had decided to create their own tequila.[2] As they were producing about a thousand bottles a year for themselves and friends, the distillery asked them to license themselves as a business in order to keep producing it at that level. Following this, they started Casamigos as a company to sell the tequila, adding Mike Meldman as a co-founder.[3] The name is loosely translated into English as "House of friends",[4] it was also the name of the neighboring vacation homes that Clooney and Gerber owned in Mexico when they started the company

Thanks. I did a shot last night and it was pretty smooth compared to most tequilas I've tried. Just was wondering if it was considered a "good" tequila

Now I feel kinda bad complaining that the tv in my hotel sucks.

My ADHD take away from this:  Randy Gerber and George Clooney are married and live together in Mexico.

Good for them.

The consensus I read was that it was pretty damn good, but not as good as some other $50 tequila. I've become a big fan of Diamonte Dobel. Its a reposada and anejo blend that is filtered clear.
