The last man to walk on the moon died yesterday.   I bet that when he became an astronaut and walked on the moon that he didn't expect that the most famous he'd ever get would be at bar trivia the week after his death.

Apollo 13 splashed down safely in the South Pacific on the day I was born. 

Yes, I managed to make a post about a semi-famous astronaut dying about me. I'm the worst.

Also, this Jim Beam Black, though not The World's Best Bourbon as Mila Kunis keeps insisting on my TV, is pretty good. And at $20 for 750ml, an outstanding value.

This is sad fish.

These guys were more courageous and awesome than any of here could imagine.

Maybe he seems nice ...bar fight ...you are picking up your teeth.  

 
Maybe it's just me but I just watched "Secretariat" with my son and I got choked up. But I grew up with horses, started riding age 2.  What that horse did is still to this day, unbelievable.

 
What's up guys?  And Krista.  :D   is a Conservative welcome in here?  I promise I won't talk politics.  This thread has always intrigued me.

What happened to Tanner?  I really miss that guy.  He wasn't too fond of me, and we butted heads a lot, but I always liked the guy.  Would love to see him come back.

 
I stay out of the politics threads other than making lighthearted jokes on occasion.  People need to mellow the #### out!  :hot:

I would say there are a couple others who are less welcome. But it only applies to the most spectacular of idiots.

And it isn't a policy, (there is only one policy here: no politics talk), just an observation.
