Welp just got back from our first softball practice it's going to be a long year.

did go talk to the travel coach, I think we are moving to that in the summer. It's not crazy people travel. It's normal people travel. 3 days a week with sone tournaments here and there. I told myself I wouldn't do it but it's only slightly more than what I pay for rec and my daughter wants to do it now. And looking at the team she would be on she would be ahead of so e of the girls.

Sorry that came off wrong. I'm the head coach of rec league. We are laid back and fun. I teach fundamentals a lot. We are 2 nights a week. When I say that I mean it's one week day one weekend. The problem is since I work with my daughter a lot she is ahead of the girls by a far margin. and I just do fun drills with my daughter its not like I go out and make her do it she asked me to do it

Our travel team is 2 nights a week and 1 weekend day and is still developmental. It's not crazy people going to tournaments all over the place. We have a club team that is the true crazy people travel too. This is just a step in between

I'm 43 and my oldest is in college. just me my wife and my 9 year old daughter lef . Theleague is just a little bit more serious than rec league but not the true things you read about travel. This team during the fall and winter you don't have play the travel softball they let you play other sports unlike many other travel type teaamsthe three days a week runs from April 1st to middle of June so tight its all year

I've been coaching her in basketball and softball since she was in kindergarden its a lot of fun cuz I'm not a person there to win . I'm there to teach them how to play the only problem is since she's my daughter sometimes she takes things a little too personally so she listens better if I give her to another coach sometimes

Yeah, well....just got back from basketball practice. Our team is the Island of Misfit Toys. Need three different translates and one of the kids is intellectually disabled and has never played any organized sports before. He shot a ball into the water fountain tonight. I can't pronounce two of the kids' names so I have a "Letter A" and a "Capital N". Team that took the court after us looked like the Globetrotters. Cooper and I just laughed when we got in the car. What can you do? Have fun....

It would be in his best interest to plead guilty and take probation + alcohol and drug treatment, but he is pig headed and unlikely to do so. So I will be there to support my sister and stare a million daggers into this guy's face. POS coward....
