Just an aside...

My dad, the most unassuming Tom Bosley-looking guy, was so good at 7 card stud his regular poker group eventually refused to play it for about 30 years.  True story.

My late brother in law loved to tell the story about how a bunch of people went to play poker at one of the casinos in Reno after my brother’s wedding...and dad killed a table with a straight flush.

Lumpia is/are good, but other than that, Filipino food is all kinds of awful.  The only SE Asian country where the food isn't the best freaking stuff on the planet.  Think most of our meals there were along the lines of "we have mushed rice with some eggs, but put a lizard on top for good luck."

Spent the morning kayaking over in St. Pete. 4 miles in mostly mangrove trails is a good upper body workout.  Moving on to lawn mowing, burgers, and drinks later.  Happy Father’s Day all (I’m not one....that I know of).

When I met him, Mr. krista was playing in a regular Tuesday game at Albini's studio.  Three of the Tuesday players now have bracelets (the other two being Eric Rodawig and Brandon Shack-Harris, who has two).  In other words, Mr. krista is a slacker.

I've butted heads with Brandon a few times in $1500 events. Finished 8 spots ahead of him in 2017 Om8.  I've become a good "poker friend" of Frankie O'Dell from back at my Bike and Commerce days in LA.  He finished fifth in that Stud event and 2nd in a mixed event a week ago and has two bracelets. Frankie posted the link to that story on FB. That's how I saw it.

I need to submit something Xzibit-related, don't I? Currently leaning toward "Yo, dawg!" but will consider ideas from the GMTAN community
