GM's Thread About Everything/GM's Thread About Nothing (17 Viewers)

one time i left my suite in vegas, got to the airport and reached for my stash of cash and then had the panicky realization i left $3100 in the safe in the room.

Well, Wife 2.0 just took the most sensitive early pregnancy test on the market and it just came back as negative.

So maybe that first test was just a clunker. We have an appointment with her OBGYN tomorrow which we are going to keep, just to make sure, but I am greatly relieved.

But she still feels poorly, hasn't had her period and false positives can sometimes occur because of ovarian tumors or cysts. So now I am concerned about her.

Yeah, that can be scary too.

Anybody ever been to the football hall of fame? Thinking about taking Cooper there this summer. We'll be in Detroit (again) and have always wanted to go. But, 3 hour + drive one way. Worth it?

So you'll be out of Detroit for at least 6 hours?

I haven't been in years (22 yrs), but used to live pretty close to there just north of Akron and went a number of times. If you/Cooper have an appreciation for the history of football - its a great place. Gotta believe its even better now.

They've added a lot of newer stuff with some of it being interactive, but it's essentially a museum of jerseys/helmets/footballs/SB rings/equipment. They have a gameday theater that is pretty cool, but I would imagine that most kids would be done in there in about 2 hours tops unless they are REALLY into football. Although, if you're going to be there during the HOF week, that changes everything.

There's actually a really cool car museum fairly close by as well though that you could spend a couple of hours at. Depending on how long you were in the area, I could make some other suggestions on things to do, places to eat, places to stay, people not to impregnate, etc.

I went when I was 11 and I liked it. But we only went because we were passing through on our way to Cooperstown. I don't remember it well enough to say if it's worth a special trip, but if you can get away from all the kids and just spend a day with Coop that's probably worth it. For you both.

Headed to NeW York. I do have Knicks tickets tonight which is nice. But it's also cold as balls.
Going to Vegas tomorrow. Not exactly warm there either. AngryWife putting up some kind of fight about my insistence that she only bring her trashiest outfits. Vegas sluts don't care about the weather.

Buy her something. Nothing some straight up bribery can't solve

GM and RL, don't click:

Just read that Antonio Cromartie is expected twins - after his vasectomy. They'll be his 11th and 12th.

I have. I'd say iffy on the worth it front. It's a little weird - here's the uniform some old dude wore. Here's a room full of bronze busts. If Coop likes learning about the history of football, by all means, go. It's pretty well done, but just got a bit repetitive/boring for my oh hey, look, a shiny object. Neat

When did Panera get so expensive? Stopped on the way home for the Mrs because I'm thoughtful, and ordered their "pick 2" deal where it's 1/2 a sandwich and a soup. Also added a 1/2 Caesar salad. All this overrated crap cost $17.52.

So it's like the Rock N Roll hall of fame but for football

Probably in my top 5 least favorite restaurants

Dont think I'd call it a restaurant. Pretty sure they don't even prepare the sandwiches. I think they unwrap them and poop them into the microwave.

Love their cinnamon crunch bagels though.
:goodposting:

I seem to associate Panera with their awful lunch options and not their bagels which are fine. I mean I know they aren't made with magical Hudson River water but they're fine
