Could be worse - you could be a nihilist who doesn't care about anything.  Storks was just ok.

Its just lowcarb/ I thought you understood trying to get that in take-out. Not a big deal. Some of us just have to throttle way the hell back on carbs. BUrger no bun and none of those fries that suck anyway

By coupled, do you mean schtooped?

That could make a lot of things haywire, but you should be shrewd enough to keep it from being career limiting. I'm way to ignorant of the situation to offer advice, but good luck. If you want to PM feel free. I've experience ####### up both jobs and relationships and don't judge.

We all have one way or another. And the vast majority of things in life are nowhere close to as bad or hopeless as our feeble minds try to convince us of.

Mostly Q&A with some amplitude.  Navigated through AT&T wasteland to finally get to how they structure phone plans these days without subsidies like in the past.  So the answer to your question is yes.

Ugh…. Still in the hospital with my son and the doctors are puzzled.  All the CT scans, blood work, labs etc look good yet he has no appetite and has intense abdominal pain.  They don’t think it is appendicitis.  They have a colonoscopy scheduled for tomorrow to try and come up with a diagnosis.  5 nights sleeping in the hospital is too much.   Really, really hope to get some answers tomorrow.

given the rate floppinho and floppinha smash the toilet with their insanely sized poo and the amount of time I spend plunging it, it's rare for me to wish this on anybody, but here goes... hope bernkid just needs to take a giant dump and get it all sorted.

Yeesh, hope things get better soon.

 
Kind of funny you mention a huge dump as that was one diagnosis.  They gave the kid enough laxative he #### the bed and didn't even realize it.  That hypothesis and several others have been knocked off the tables. 

I finally lost it this morning when they suggested again this was all in his head.  I don't recall everything I said but my son was left impressed with my intensity and colorful vocabulary.

when my youngest was.... really young... she didn't #### for something like 11 days. doctor told us to try a suppository. 

we picked some up and headed home. my mom happened to stop over so i asked her to help my wife with the suppository while i tended to the other kid. 

in went the suppository and, within a few seconds, out spewed a fountain of #### like i'd never seen before. all over.... everything.

what i'm saying is, i hope it's this and teh kid just needs an enema.

 
damn, two kids in the state reported missing in the last couple days. both found safely after getting lost in cornfields.

guess we'll skip the corn maze this year

I had this as a kid.  intense abdominal pain, so bad that I was doubled over on the floor in a fetal position.  there was nothing physically wrong with me.  turned out that my head was creating the pain to draw attention to myself to get my parents to stop throwing lamps at each other.   

after that I just pretty much stayed away from them for the next 40 years and the pain never came back.

did Newman's Own discontinue the sausage & peppers pasta sauce??

it's my go-to for noodles. haven't seen it in weeks. last time i bought some "boutique" brand. jar cost me $6.69. today it's advertised as "on sale" for $8.49. :hot:

inb4: "i can't believe people don't spend 14 hours making 10-gallons of sauce on Sundays like i do..."
