ALL OF MY LIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Good point. Of course we're living in a world where the SEVENTH Fast+Furious movie has made $800,000,000.I appreciated the effort by his friends. That had to be a substantial time suck.
What I don't understand is how someone could like Rambo that much.
Any LOL Sandler Epics in there?I think I sent somebody a still-sealed copy of a Fast and Furious movie in a Box O' Crap. SLB maybe? My daughter won it as part of a huge basket full of movies at some raffle thing. I think there were about 25-50 movies in that thing, and it was 1 of about 3 that never got opened. My brother and I joke that Tokyo Drift is the best movie ever made. I bought him the movie poster for Christmas, and he got me the Blu Ray.Good point. It was me and it's still unopened. I didn't even pretend I might watch it by putting it with the rest of the DVD's.I think I sent somebody a still-sealed copy of a Fast and Furious movie in a Box O' Crap. SLB maybe? Cool story. Not sure spoiler tags were necessary but still..
He's like the anti-TRE now. That's a big noggin, man. They name him Tre?
I waited until after the tournament to find out what your alma mater was, you know, to really enjoy the mystery. So thanks.Cool story. Not sure spoiler tags were necessary but still..![]()
Seemed like too much backstory.
I put my alma mater in spoiler tags one day during March Madness (because honestly, nobody GAF your mediocre state school might get it's first bid in a decade) and someone accused me of being passive aggressive. :whoosh:
Handing a baby to #1 Catholic priest in the world reminds me of something. This is my great nephew Xavier, 10 months.
He's kind of a big deal.
BACKSTORY My 26 y.o. niece Abi spent three years teaching in China with her husband.
Last year she came home to give birth in June. Then they moved to another Jesuit school to teach English in Palma de Mallorca (Balleric Islands).
My sister is over visiting this week, and they took a train to Roma (with a few interesting stops along the way.)
Today they went to the weekly mass at St Peter's. My nephew-in-law held up the little guy so the magic man could bless him.
I'm agnostic, but that's some pretty cool #### anyway.
Pio? Isn't that Samoan?Xavier PioThat's a big noggin, man. They name him Tre?
We lost in the conference final. And the first round of the NIT. But resigned our coach to a 5 year and everyone's coming back. Look out, MAC - just wait until next year!I waited until after the tournament to find out what your alma mater was, you know, to really enjoy the mystery. So thanks.Cool story. Maybe they just liked the name?
Saint Francis Xavier was one of the founders of the Jesuits.Maybe they just liked the name?![]()
They went to private Catholic, Jesuit university and now teach English at baby Jesus schools. Though I have to admit a son named XP does sound kinda cool.

You'll get summers off.So, I'm seriously considering going into teaching. I'm just not sure if loving cats is a prerequisite or if it's a side effect.

You live in Port-au-Prince?My kid threw up several times last night and stayed home from school today. 180 kids in his school went home sick today. Puke everywhere..classrooms, hallways, buses.

How did you (or she) decide on papa instead of dad?Grabbed a ice coffee today after picking up my first grader.
"Can I get chocolate milk?"
(Horizon Organic, no brainier)
Sure
2 minutes later she screams at me:
"Papa!! This has 22 grams of sugar in it!"

My daughter started calling me "Forrest" and smirks when she does it. Fatherhood is neat. How did you (or she) decide on papa instead of dad?Grabbed a ice coffee today after picking up my first grader.

Not sure where she got that from. All her friends say daddy. But same as day one, she's never used anything else.ETA: except she does say Mopa sometimes to be a smart alec ("because really you're kind of a momma and a papa.")How did you (or she) decide on papa instead of dad?Grabbed a ice coffee today after picking up my first grader.
