I'm sure some people won't find that too excessive but it got me to thinking...

What goes through your head if you weren't picked to be in the wedding party? "WTF? I'm not even in the top 11?" I would think that would be worse than not being asked to be in a normal sized wedding party.

Sorry. I can't help myself. We put up with the stupidity with Girl Scouts, too. But I lucked out and get to dump all that bull#### on my wife.

Oh me too. There were some cool dads the first few years but their kids all quit or they made them quit. The rest are hardcore guys and I think most if not all have served in the military. Pretty sure the dorks hate me something fierce.

 
My 13 year (finally) came to me and asked about shaving the dirty fuzz off his upper lip yesterday. He took a shower, and I set him up with my razor (just a Gillette Mach 3 - I probably go months before having to change cartridges) telling him I'll hook him up with his own later.

About 15 minutes later (approx 1 minute per whisker) he comes out to show off his newly smooth face.

"Hey dad, so what happens now, will the razors just start coming in the mail every week?"

 
Junior high track meets are more boring than baseball. I'm at one now. I figure i'll be here for close to three hours to see my son do stuff for about 90 seconds.

Oh, and speaking of scouting complaints, guess how this guy gets to spend his Saturday?

 
He just ran. Now I will watch him high jump a couple times, then race across town to watch his little brother play Little League baseball. What a Friday!

Movies and a flask with the Sobieski logo on it. I think it had Birdman, both the new Planet of the Apes, The Wild, Taken 3, some kids stuff, and a workout video. YSR can post the list if she wants I can't remember, but it was a pretty good crop.

 
I was about to post how lame the whole "farewell to David Letterman" nonsense has been and then Norm MacDonald closed out the show tonight.......and my faith in humanity was restored.

Hi happy people!!!

We just got home from the Ring of Honor/New Japan Pro Wrestling iPPV and had the best time I've/we've ever had at a wrestling show.

I hope everyone is doing well.
